The chalets were beautifully built by Simon & Joy (the owners). The cottages are fully self-contained and are built from hand-made mudbricks, featuring local timberwork and stone finishes. Each one has a gas barbecue and includes your own large private outdoor 11 jet Hydro Therapy Massage Spa. Enjoy “spas under the glorious southern star filled skies.”

Set the mood for romance with your favourite CD’s and the world-class wines and foods from the area. Complimentary local produce are stocked in the cottage, which includes fresh milk, eggs, local paper, butter and map. You can order a loaf of freshly baked Organic Bread for only an extra $5. Plus special feed provided for the friendly wildlife that visits the chalets.

Yelverton Brook Eco Spa Retreat is committed to preserving the natural environment. All the cottages are solar orientated, well insulated, water and energy efficient and a recycling program is in place.

Each chalet contains feed for the visiting wildlife – birds, kangaroos, woylies, possums and bandicoots, and they offer extensive walk trails around the 100 acres and along the winter stream & picnic sites

Eco Tours are available via other local operators - offering whale & dolphin tours, Bushtucker & winery tours, Hemp products, Organic Wines & Aboriginal Culture.
Special packages - are available or customize a special package to suit your needs, honeymoons especially catered for.

Driving Directions –
You can choose between the coastal route or inland route both are beautiful in there own right, maybe drive down the coast and return to Perth via the inland route.
Driving by car –
Coastal Route - Guests arriving via Perth airport can travel from the Hollier Millar Drive from the international airport in Perth to the Roe Freeway which heads southwards towards the Kwinana Highway. Then traveling southwards to the end of the freeway and follow the signs to Mandurah. Continue southwards along the Old Coast Road to pass the coastal towns of Bunbury and Busselton.At the entrance of Busselton is a roundabout to enter in Busselton or use the Busselton Bypass and head towards Margaret River. At Vasse roundabout follow the signs to and head towards Margaret River. Traveling along Bussell Highway southwards it’s 6kms to Carbunup River General Store & Roadhouse ( they have fuel and a liquor store plus general goods), you are traveling through beautiful farming country and grape vines.

The route from Perth is well sign posted and the journey will take approximately three hours. People already living in Perth should begin their journey by heading south out of the city along the Kwinana Freeway.

Inland Route - The alternative highway is the inland route which is a little slower and more scenic going through small towns. This highway is known as the South West Highway. This takes you through the suburb of Armadale, then towards the town of Pinjarra, then Waroona, Harvey, Brunswick Junction and on into Bunbury then to Busselton and follow the information above from arriving into Busselton.

Please note that police do monitor motorists’ speed and there are numerous areas to stop for a break, these are well sign posted. You may see ‘Free coffee for driver” signs as well please use them to stay refreshed and safe traveling.
Nearly there -
From Carbunup River we are a 6km drive southwards to Roy Road then you need to turn left and then it is 1.2kms to our entrance.
There is a pull off lane off the highway for your safety, a blue directional sign is on the highway.
 
You will find a button on the green post to open the electric front gate, this gate closes automatically. Drive through the mud-brick entrance and follow the sign to the office.
If we are not home to greet you in person, we will have your name on the white-board against your chalet. There is a directional map in the office window showing you how to find your chalet.

Cancellation Policy -

f you need to cancel your booking a cancellation fee of $30 + online distribution fees if booking via an agent either online or offline (10-20% of total price) will apply for the booking. If you cancel more than 14 days in advance of your booking.
If cancelled less than 14 days & received in writing 14 days prior to arrival, you will be liable for the entire payment. However, if we can re-book the said dates you will only be required to pay the cancellation fee+ online distribution fees (10-20% of total price).
(Note - All Christmas & Easter holiday bookings must be paid two weeks prior to arrival)

Extra adult is $50 p/nt Child is $25 p/nt. Infant (under1yr) is $10 p/nt which includes cot & highchair.
We then will provide extra linen needed to suit your stay.
1 x bedroom spa chalet has 1 x queen bed & double sofa bed in lounge - (open plan style)
2 x bedroom spa chalet has 2 x queen bedrooms & double sofa bed in lounge area. This has a shared bathroom. Plus a portable cot & toy-box. Linen is only provided with payment plus we can supply an extra soft mattress. Highchair by request if needed.

Booking Information: Terms and Conditions of Stay -
All online bookings are paid in full.
Overseas guests must provide Passport ID & Credit card details on check-in if they incur any extra costs - eg extra guests, food items, day spa treatments, damages etc:
Minimum booking conditions is 2 nights
Midweek specials bookings is defined as Sun - Thurs nights.
Minimum booking conditions for long weekends is 3 nights
Minimum booking conditions for Easter is 4 nights
Minimum booking conditions for Christmas to New Year is 4 nights
(Please note no departure/arrivals is allowed on Jan 1st it must be a check-out on the 2nd of Jan and no check-out or check-in on Christmas Day.)
All online bookings are paid in full to confirm your booking.

Cleaning Policy
If a chalet is left in an excessive dirty state above normal cleaning you will be charged for the extra cleaning, eg: dirty dishes etc.
Any damage to the chalets will be charged for.
Late departures -
If cleaners are kept waiting after 10.30am on your departure morning you will be charged $25 per hour unless prior arrangements have been made with Yelverton Brook.
Late check-out may be available @ $25 per hour after 10am depending on bookings, prior arrangements are essential.
Check-in is after 2pm, Departure by 10am unless by prior arrangement.
Other Conditions & Extras -
No pets are allowed.
Chalets are non-smoking but a smokers pot is provided on the patio area.
If smoking is detected inside the chalets there is a $200 fee charged for cleaning the curtains, upholstery, carpets and air conditioner filters.
Pre-paid vouchers can be arranged for special occasions.
Please note no departure/arrivals is allowed on Jan 1st. You must check-out on the 2nd of Jan and no check-out or check-in on Christmas Day.)
Any extra guests must be advised to owners & paid for before departure.
