Destination

The “jewel of the Indian Ocean”, rising a mere 3 metres above sea level offers visitors a relaxed safe island lifestyle where you can do as much or as little as you desire. The Cocos (Keeling) Islands is an external territory of Australia located approximately 2750km northwest from Perth, Western Australia. Its closest neighbour is another external territory, Christmas Island, which lies approximately 900km east northeast from Cocos.

Cocos is famous for its lay-back style of living and relaxed atmosphere. The Islands year round balmy tropical climate entices anyone who is seeking a warm getaway from the winter chills. With Cocos’ pristine beaches, warm clear waters of the Indian Ocean and spectacular marine life, your holiday starts the moment you step off the plane.  Cocos Castaway owners, Annelies and Graham Flynn, will meet you at the airport and assist with the transfer to your accommodation.

Virgin Australia flies to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands three times per week, departing from Perth International airport on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Castaway Standard Villa

Cocos Castaway Villas are ideally suited to a couple or a single who want self-contained style and luxury. These studio style villas are adjoining and share a common verandah. Enjoy a BBQ at the communal “pondok” facility.

Castaway Superior Unit

Cocos Castaway Superior units are ideally suited to singles, twin, couples or couples with a young child who want self-contained elegance. These studio style units are adjoining, each having its own private verandah.  Enjoy a BBQ at the communal “pondok” facility.

Cocos Castaway Superior studio units are more spacious than the villas with the same detail to decor and luxury fittings. Each unit has a hammock for you to rest and relax after your busy day exploring the Islands hidden treasures.

Castaway Superior Ocean View Unit

Cocos Castaway Superior Ocean View unit is ideally suited to singles, twin, couples or couples with a young child who want self-contained elegance. The studio style unit adjoins the other two Superior Units each having its own private verandah. Enjoy a BBQ at the communal “pondok” facility.

Only the Superior “Ocean View” unit has an extra large verandah with uninterrupted views to the Indian Ocean.

Castaway Deluxe Retreat

Cocos Castaway Retreats are 2 bedroom free-standing bungalows with separate living and kitchen area. These popular dwellings are ideally suited to a small family of four, two couples or a couple who want self-contained elegance.

The Retreats have uninterrupted views to the Indian Ocean from their private verandah. Enjoy the sunset whilst relaxing in your hammock or cooking your catch of the day on the “pondok” communal BBQ.
