Booking Conditions (terms and conditions)

THE BOOKING - This booking is subject to the following booking conditions. Confirmation of the booking is a binding contract between the guest and the owner of the property. This document needs to be read carefully. A deposit is required within 48 hours to confirm your booking. Please check your booking dates.

We will issue you a Paypal invoice which can be paid by credit card.

DEPOSIT - 
A $300 deposit is required to confirm all bookings. A receipt will be issued. The full rate is payable for bookings under 30 days. You will be automatically invoiced for the balance 30 days before your booked date. Directions and key code will the be forwarded to you.

SECURITY BOND - a refundable security bond of $400 (exception on some properties) is payable via Paypal by credit card. The bond will be refunded via Paypal back to your credit card within 3 -7 working days after quests vacate. Your full bond will be forwarded provided there are no damages, excess cleaning or other expenses incurred. PLEASE NOTE

Alternatively we will hold your credit card details if there are any bond or barbecue issues.

FINAL PAYMENT - Full and final payment is required at least 30 days prior to the commencement of the holiday.

UNDERAGE GUESTS - We do not accommodate groups of unaccompanied minors or school- leavers.

NUMBER OF GUESTS - The number of guests occupying the property for the duration of the appointed dates must not exceed the number specified on the booking form. Should there be any changes to the number of guests the booking agent MUST be informed. Failure to do so may result in extra tariff or cancellation of the booking.

BEHAVIOUR - It is the responsibility of all guests to behave in a manner not to cause any damage, offend neighbours or create additional cost to the owners or Booking agent. Any complaints may lead to additional expenses; these additional costs may lead to extra charges via credit card or forfeiture of the bond.

CANCELLATION POLICY - A $100 flat fee will be charged by Experience Augusta to change or cancel a booking on top of individual home owners cancellation policy. Guests must refer to individual homeowners policies.

DOGS & PETS - 
No pets are permitted.Some owners allow pets by arrangement.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES - Check in is 2pm and check is 10.00am unless otherwise arranged and confirmed.

KEYS - Key codes will be made available upon final payment and sent via email, SMS or both at the holiday home as has been arranged with the booking agent. 



LINEN & TOWELS - 
All linen and towels are provided $21 per person. PLEASE NOTE any extra beds (linen) used will be charged out at $21 per single bed and $42 per double bed

UNUSED SERVICES - Where the client chooses to cut short their stay a refund is not available for any unused portion of the booking.


GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY - 
Guests are expected to respect and take good care of the property entrusted to them. This includes all furnishings and equipment. All properties have a NO SMOKING POLICY failure to respect this policy will result in extra cleaning and dry-cleaning costs and nightly rates while property is being cleaned.. Any faults, damages or breakages must be reported to the Booking Agent. Guests will be liable for any breakages or damages caused to the property during the guests holiday occupation and all costs of repair and replacement shall be either taken from the bond before refund or deducted from credit card pre auth by the Booking Agent. It is the responsibility of the guests to ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked and that the property is left clean and tidy with dishes washed and put away and BBQ cleaned. Any extra cleaning will be charged at $50 per hour. If BBQ is not left clean as you found it there will be a $50 fee from your bond.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Payment of a deposit will confirm you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

CANCELLATIONS & INSURANCE - 
Where written notification of a cancellation is received no less than 28 days in advance of the holiday, consideration may be given to allow the guest to transfer the booking (of the same house only) to another date, less transfer fee of $50. Where written notification of a cancellation is received less than 28 days in advance of the holiday, the guest shall be liable for payment of the full rental whether or not occupation of the holiday house occurs. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another property. Guests are strongly advised to take out comprehensive holiday & travel insurance to cater for any unforeseen circumstances. Please view individual property cancelation policy as they may vary slightly.

LIABILITY - 
In consideration that Experience Augusta acts as the Booking Agent and uses all reasonable endeavours to ensure accuracy of information and quality of facilities, no liability is accepted for any claim as a result of problems that occur at the property, or for any loss or personal injury or illness, however caused, while guests occupy the property.

LOST PROPERTY - Experience Augusta does not accept liability for finding or returning lost property. It is the responsibility of guests to check before departure that personal belongings have not been left in the house. A minimum charge plus the cost of retrieval, post and packaging (paid in advance by credit charge) will apply if any lost property is to be returned to guests.
