Our Suites also contain a separate lounge area and a modern kitchenette. Recently refurbished to a high standard, each room has been inspired by and named after some of Australia's most loved Horse Racing champions.

Yarrawonga is located on the Murray River on the edge of Lake Mulwala, and our charming hotel is situated in the town's main street. We offer inspired decor with a slightly French Provincial feel, together with genuine Aussie-style pub hospitality. The welcome is warm and the beer is cold! 

Stay and entertain yourself with our exclusive TAB betting facilities and sports screens. Our Dining Room has great atmosphere and an excellent reputation for meals. Steaks, seafood, schnitzels and more plus Chef's selections daily... there's something for everyone. We love our wines and have an extensive wine list featuring many regional wines. 

We also offer eight rooms of quality accommodation on the upper level of the hotel. Staying upstairs at an Aussie pub is a very different experience here. Every room has been beautifully refurbished to offer all the luxuries of home, named after some of the greatest horses we've seen in Australian thoroughbred racing. Choose a Stable Room or self-contained Suite. Our rates are very reasonable and because we're right in the centre of town, it's just a short stroll to our local shops, services, cafes and bakeries.

  • Breakfast is not included but there is a wide variety of cafes and bakeries in the main street, just steps away, offering delicious fresh-cooked breakfasts and quality coffee. We suggest you explore and enjoy what our town has to offer!

  • Bed configurations are subject to availability, but we offer King, Queen and twin single combinations.

  • Please note our rooms will not be suitable for you if you have difficulty negotiating stairs, as our upper floor is accessible by staircase only.

  • Check-in is at the bar. Late check-in by prior arrangement with management only.

  • Parking is provided in the street in front of the hotel or in the public car park at the rear of the hotel. Our staff will be happy to direct you. Note that private after hours access is provided for house guests. Our accommodation has a separate entry (distinct from the hotel entry) at the front and rear of the hotel.

"Great place to stay and close to the action." Rooms were very well presented with everything being clean and fresh. Liked that all the rooms were named after racehorses. Parking options were available too.

"Much more than we expected - Fabulous" From the moment we arrived we were greeted with huge genuine smiles. The staff at this hotel are exceptional - best customer service experience we have had in a very long time! Nothing was too much trouble 10 out of 10. We settled into our room and then went exploring this gorgeous town returning to the Hotel for dinner. We both had the Fillet Steak which was not only cooked to perfection but probably one of - if not the best steak I have ever been served. I can not rate our experience at this hotel highly enough. Thank you to the team that made our stay so enjoyable on Sunday 17th November 2019. Kind Regards Allan and Joy
