Description
Our 2 bedroom self contained unit is situated on the Great Ocean Road, 15 minutes from the main street of Warrnambool, on our family property. The unit sleeps 7. It has a queen size bed in bedroom 1, a single bunk and double single bunk in bedroom 2 and a sofa bed is located in the dining area. Flat screen TV in dining area, also in bedroom 2. PS2 available. There is ample space for a tent, caravan, camptrailer or truck. Single car garage. A washing machine and laundry sink is available for use in the garage. Cold water wash only.
Upon request, guests can feed our sheep, cows and chickens. If you're really lucky you may be able to feed a baby calf or lamb, which sometimes come to us orphaned.
Pets are welcome, outside only and remain the responsibility of the owners at all times.
Our kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities are available for traveling seniors with their own accommodation, on a shared basis. Advance bookings for weekdays and off peak only. Must have a seniors or pension card.
Affordable, clean neat accommodation.

We arrived very very late in the afternoon and the kids wanted to see the animals after the long drive. Wendy was so wonderful and obliging, bringing the animals out and letting our 3 kids pet the cats, rabbit, chicken right till it was too dark to see!!! thank you , we had a really lovely stay !

A great place to stay. Wendy is very friendly and welcoming and the unit is clean and comfortable. It has everything you need to feel at home, and the bed really is comfy. Our dog Diva loved her play with Molly.

We loved staying here! Everything about Mepunga Country Stay was awesome, from the sheep, cows, dogs etc, to the location, only 10 mins or so to Warrnambool. Our 20 month old son loved the animals and the space for him to run around in was incredible. Ian & Wendy are wonderful hosts and are very thoughtful - eggs and milk in the fridge, and they also rustled up a car for our son to play with.We enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to spend more time here.
