Set within 5 acres of magnificent garden this superbly renovated eco-house, PlaneTrees Lodge, offers groups of 4 - 10 people unique, luxury, self-catering holiday accommodation. Our luxury GateHouse Suite provides stylish accommodation for two people. Enjoy our amazing 16m natural swimming pool, giant chess and a bocci court, walk the local landcare tracks, wander the sophistocated shops and cultural facilities in Beechworth, take a long bike ride along the rail trail or simply laze about in the Lodge's private garden. 

The Lodge accommodates up to 10 people in a unique self-catering home that boasts a well equipped kitchen. The environment is child friendly and we are happy to welcome small, well behaved dogs (depending on breed and size) with prior agreement only.

Within the garden you can enjoy a 16m natural swimming pool, a giant chess board and a bocci court. There is a good old fashioned rope swing in the peppiment tree by the Lodge that is a big favourite with children - use at your own risk!  Bring your bikes to enjoy kilometers of popular bike riding.  The local recreational reserve has a children's playground.  Local farms sell wonderful apples, pears, berries and nuts.  Get you weekend papers from our community run Post Office in Stanley.

We provide linen, bedding, towels, general kitchen provisions and a breakfast hamper for your first morning that includes cereals, milk, bread, butter, jams, tea and coffee etc. If you are looking to make a special event at home ask Genevieve about local provenders or a visiting chefs. 

PlaneTrees, located in the picturesque hamlet of Stanley, Victoria,  just 10 mins drive from historic Beechworth, is the perfect base for exploring the North East Victoria region that is so rich in gourmet, wine and outdoor adventure experiences; cycling, hiking, canoing, fishing, rock climbing and skiing and so much more. The Stanley pub is few minutes stroll from the Lodge and Beechworth offers a variety of dining experiences from the "two hat" variety to an artisan brewery. Some of Australia's best winemakers are found within 20 minutes drive.
