Description
Blakiston House is a Beautiful newly renovated House located in Rye, on the Mornington Peninsula.
The House has 3 Bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 Guests.
Blakiston House is only 250 Metres or less than a 5 minute leisurely walk from the Rye Bay Beach. Ryes shopping strip with its Supermarket, Restuarants, Bars, Pub & Cafes are all within an easy 8 -10 minute walk.
During your stay, Guests have exclusive use of the House's common areas, booked Bedrooms and it's gardens. (Please note that the large 3 door linen/ cleaning storage cupboards in the Laundry, marked 'Private' are not accessible to Guests during their stay.)
Ducted Gas Heating throughout the House makes it warm and cosy throughout the winter months.
The House has 2 large living areas.
The main Living area includes a large Lounge area, open-plan Kitchen and dining area which opens out onto the front, north-facing deck, ideal for Alfresco dining.
This Living area has refrigerated Air Condtioning and includes a TV/ DVD player and a Stereo system. The Kitchen is fully equipped with underbench oven, hotplate, microwave oven, full-sized Fridge/Freezer, Toaster & Kettle. All cutlery, crockery, glassware and cookware is provided.
The second Living area also has refrigerated Air Conditioning, a TV, Blu-ray Player and a playstation. The cupboard is full of DVD's, Playstation games, board games & books, ideal for the kids! This room opens out into the fully-fenced, private backyard with undercover built-in BBQ on the back patio for your use.
Blakiston House has 3 Bedrooms. All Bed linen, towels and Beach towels are provided.
- Master Bedroom - Queen Bed, built -in robes, ceiling fan and it's own luxury Ensuite which includes a Vanity, Large Shower and toilet.
- Second Bedroom - Queen Bed with built-in robes and ceiling fan.
- Third Bedroom - Two King Single Beds with built-in robes and ceiling fan.
- The Main Bathroom has a Vanity unit, a shower, a Bath and a seperate second toilet.
The Laundry has a washing machine, sink and the north-west facing clothesline can be accessed from the Laundry.
Blakiston House is located on a quiet street and offers off-street parking, a single car carport and space for up to 4 cars, or a boat/jetski in its long driveway.
All of the Mornington Peninsulas premier attractions are within a short drive from centrally located Blakiston House.

The recent introduction of the ‘Short Stay Rental Accommodation Local Law’ (adopted April 2018) by the Mornington Peninsula Council, now requires Accommodation providers to Register their Properties and ensure their Guests abide by the expected Code of Conduct rules.
A copy of this Code of Conduct will be provided to the Guests at the time of Booking and will be available as a hard copy on display at the Property.

Christine's home is just so beautiful. She has really gone above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We really enjoyed the DVD collection and the welcome hamper was just so thoughtful. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the shops and an even shorter walk to the beach. A really wonderful destination. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was amazing and the hospitality even better. Everything was beautifully presented and styled - could not fault it. Christine even left a beautiful welcome pack for us. It's a very short walk to the Rye front beach and shops. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful weekend - we will definitely be recommending this to family and friends.
