Directions on How to Get Here:

By Vehicle: The quickest way from Melbourne International Airport is to drive along City Link (which is a tollway and the toll for a one way trip for the distance that you will travel is $6.42.   You phone 132629 & can pay the toll on your credit card up to 24 hours after your trip.) into Melbourne, stay on City Link as it crosses Bolte Bridge & take the sign “South Eastern Suburbs”, proceed through the Burnley tunnel remaining on City Link & as it exits the tunnel the road is known as the South Eastern or Monash Freeway, continue travelling on this same Freeway to the exit for Fern Tree Gully Road on your left, exit & travel along Fern Tree Gully Road for about 8 kilometres until you get to the intersection with Burwood Highway.Turn right at this intersection & travel about another 3 kilometres until you get to the base of the mountain where you will see a “Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Olinda” exit on your left, take that and travel the 10 kilometres to the top of the Mountain & Olinda Village where you will see the Bluestone Loft In The Mill building opposite the western or city end of Olinda Village.Total travel time One Hour, In Peak Traffic, up to One & Three quarters of an hour.Above we have also included a toll free route from the Airport to The Loft in The Mill.

By Train: Catch the Belgrave Line train from any of the city’s Railway Stations and go to Belgrave.The Bus Stop is immediately outside the Railway Station & grab a US Bus Lines Bus Route 694 which will take you to Olinda Village at the top of the mountain where the bus stop is immediately opposite the Loft In The Mill. Alternatively you can catch a Lilydale bound train & get out at Croydon Railway Station then catch a Ventura Bus Lines Bus Route 688 which terminates at the same Bus terminal in Olinda Village opposite the Loft in The Mill.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT

• The preferred Check in time is 2.00pm and the checkout is 11.00am
• A fee of $25 per hour applies for a late check out and this must be organised with reception

BOOKING TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. A 50% non refundable deposit is required to confirm you reservation.
2. If a cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the booking, the amount paid will be transferred to a future date nominated by the guest, subject to availability & an administrative fee of $50 will apply.
3. All cancellations received 30 days or less (but more than 7 days ) prior to arrival, will forfeit the amount that has been paid.
4. All cancellations received 7 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full amount of their booking and guests accept we are entitled to charge their credit card for outstanding balance.
5. Travel insurance is recommended for medical and cancellation coverage.

In addition to any cancellation fee there is a minimum administrative fee of $50 if you make changes to a booking.

BUSHFIRES & EMERGENCIES

In the event of a Code Red – Catastrophic Fire Danger Day being declared for our region, The Loft in the Mill will be closed and the following procedure will apply:

1. Guests currently in- house will be given the option to vacate the property prior to 5pm the evening before the code red day
2. Guests due to check in on the code red day will be called and advised that the accommodation will not be available and the office will be closed
3. All guests that leave their accomodation or have been advised not to attend will be issued with a voucher for a future stay.
