Description

Metung Holiday Villas, is the latest offering of quality, affordable accommodation in Metung. This new refurbished four star resort opened in May 2005 and was bought by new owners in 2013. They have upgraded with new furniture, new toddlers pool, new linen and just a nice refresh of the park. We have a range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. Each Villa is fully self-contained, all have reverse-cycle air conditioning, private balconies with outdoor settings, and in most cases, individual barbecues.

Everything has been thought of to make your stay 'hassle free', including the provision of all linen, towels, etc. Villas have a comprehensive list of cookware items for those who want to 'stay in'. AUSTAR TV provided free of charge.

A covered heated pool is available from September to April. Centrally located in the property is a children's playground, where the 'kidz' can safely play and burn off some energy. All of this is set under the canopy of beautiful trees and native terraced gardens. An easy 10 minute stroll will take you to the center of the Metung Village with its restaurants, bakery, cafes and waterfront hotel.

At Metung Holiday Villas you have the best the Gippsland Lakes has to offer at your fingertips, so you can do absolutely everything or absolutely nothing. All of this combines to make an idyllic location for that 'weekend getaway' or your next 'family holiday'.

Pet Friendly Conditions:

Being Pet friendly, if any evidence of a animal being on bedding on furniture, an extra charge of between $50 and $100 will be charged to the card given on arrival.
Please remember it is a privilege not a right to be able to bring your pet to Metung Holiday Villas.

Check In – 1400 hrs (1500 hrs peak times)

Check In Instructions – reception hours are generally 8am – 6pm daily, for late arrivals prior arrangements are to be made with management payments must be made before arrival to recieve your Key. Check Out – 1000 hrs

Early arrivals before midday will incur a $50.00 early check in fee.

Room Rates – all rates are inclusive of 4 guests, unless otherwise stated. Any additional guest charges are to be paid direct to property.

All room types are NON-SMOKING

Child Policy – infant 0-2 free of charge with own bedding, Porta Cot & High Chair available for hire($20.00 per item)

Parking – onsite parking is available for 1 vehicle at each Villa

Boat Parking – Boats can be parked at Superior & Luxury Villas by request only. Limited boat parking is available with some Family Villas depending on their size.

Pet Friendly: conditions apply. Please inform the staff you are bringing your Pet.

Booking Conditions:
Off-Season: we require you to pay a deposit of $100.00 at the time of booking, with the balance of the accommodation to be settled on arrival.
Peak-Season: we require you to pay an initial deposit of $100.00 at the time of booking, with the balance of 50% of the total tariff payable 90 days prior to travel, with any outstanding balance payable on arrival

Cancellation Policy

More than 14 days notice:

You will receive a full credit less a service charge of $50.00, alternatively your deposit may be transferred in full to an alternative date within 12 months of the original booking.

Less than 14 days notice:

Full deposit is forfeited

Peak Times:

Cancellations advised within 90 days of booking date will be subject to a cancellation charge or forfeiture of full deposit/payment if we are unable to relet the full period of the booking.

No-Shows:

In the event that you do not arrive on the specified date of arrival, the full amount of any outstanding balance will be charged to your account.

Pet Friendly Conditions:

"Great family and pet friendly accommodation that is good value for money." Great value for money. Basic but clean and comfortable accommodation. We were two adults and four kids. We stayed one night - would want three bed cabin if staying longer. The beds were lovely and the kids appreciated the chocolates on arrival! Did not use pool as did not have time but it looked nice. Metung is stunning. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin and it was lovely to have our dog with us too. Would stay here again.

"Already talking about going back for a weekend stay and maybe spend more time on the water" The room was very very clean, 6 of us stayed in the room with 1 small dog and it was ideal for a 1 night stay, beds very comfy. Grounds very well kept

"It was a perfect stay - only wish we had planned better so we could have stayed there a few more day" The managers, Juanita and Scott, were simply amazing and compassionate. We arrived late with my 84 year old mother in tow only to find out that all of the restaurants and grocery stores were closed. Without a moment of hesitation they went into their own refrigerator and panty and pulled out enough for a meal that night. Later that evening, they came around to check on us and brought eggs, bacon and bread for breakfast. Needless to say we were overwhelmed. I don't want to cause any trouble by mentioning this since I don't think it is part of the normal check-in routine and probably should not be expected but we found it simply awe inspiring. The facilities and grounds were spotless and extremely well maintained as one would expect from such thoughtful people. We had been traveling around Australia and NZ for almost 2 months and having stayed in many AirBnBs, motels and other guest villas, the Metung Holiday Villas is by far one of the cleanest and friendliest places that we've stayed in. Thank you again for your kindness Juanita & Scott and best wishes for the New Year.
