Description

Royston Lodge offers self-catered, dog-friendly accommodation in Halls Gap, The Grampians (Gariwerd), western Victoria, Australia.

The house lies on 3200m2 of land in a quiet side-street, near the cycle track and 1.6km south of the main shopping area of Halls Gap.  Walk to shops and restaurants, or rent a bike and get around town easily.

The house has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 7+ people.  It has a fully equipped kitchen with espresso machine, dishwasher, gas cooking and a full size refrigerator/freezer.  The kitchen is stocked with basics such as salt, pepper, oils and spices.

Free wi-fi is included in the house for guests to use.

The lounge has a 42”/106cm flat-screen TV, DVD/blu-ray player and iPod dock.  Sofa seating is provided, comfortable for 7 people including a double sleeper sofa and single sleeper chair.  The lounge also has a wood-stove and firewood is provided.

The house has an air-conditioner and ceiling fans in the lounge and ceiling fan in one bedroom plus 2 portable standing fans.

A large east-facing deck is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast while watching the birds and wildlife.  A new gas BBQ is provided, and outdoor seating for a large group.

Bedroom configuration is:

1) Queen bed

2) single bunks plus a king single bed

3) queen bed plus walk-in wardrobe

Two single camp cots are stored in the walk-in-robe to accomodate additional guests.

Linen can be provided for an additional charge on request.

Royston Lodge is a stricktly non-smoking property.  

Dogs are welcome guests, but we request that when they are inside they are only allowed in the uncarpeted areas (dining, lounge and kitchen). 

Halls Gap is situated in the Northern Grampians Shire adjacent to the Grampians National Park.  Dogs are prohibited in the National Park and as such we have provided a secure 'puppy garden' for our visiting four legged friends whilst their two legged companions are visiting the National Park.  Halls Gap has a policy that dogs should be on a lead at all times in the township which includes the unfenced grounds of our property.

Royston Lodge is our home away from home and we are very happy to be able to share this wonderful place with guests, in turn we ask that you respect the property, our belongings and our neighbours.  Please leave the place in a neat and tidy condition as you will have found it and contact us promptly regarding any damage or issues you encounter.

Rates are subject to change until booking is confirmed. 

Linen hire is available at $15 per person per stay, including bed linen and towels.

Cancellation Policy:
- cleaning charges and linen fees are always refunded if our guests cancel before checking in
- full refund up to 1 month before scheduled arrival
- 25% refund (so half the deposit paid) up until 14 days prior to scheduled arrival
- Any less than 14 days notice and the 50% deposit paid up front is sacrificed

"Great little cabin!" Great little cabin! Easy walk into town to access everything. Very enjoyable!

The house itself was lovely and we had a great stay overall, a couple of things we found to be a bit disappointing upon arrival.The kitchen benches were covered in ants, the Television did not work (not great when you are holidaying with kids) and the caged area provided for dogs was so overgrown that we couldn’t see our dogs whilst they were in it.

"Great get away" This place is amazing. Set back from the busy centre of Halls Gap it was quiet except for the visiting wildlife. We had everything we needed and the log fire was great. The house was very clean and roomy enough for our family of five Our dogs loved it too. A fantastic get away would stay here again.

"So amazing to stay love the house, love the woodfire and locations.clean and welcoming place, definitely coming soon" such a wonderful holiday we have with such nice house and woodfire was wow and location was great we had a morning walk to lake and connect to nature with birds and kangaroo, thankyou for the spieces feels like home.cook.and near by restaurants. have a barbeque night. and had a lunch outside on the deck enjoying view, cant wait to go back.
