Description

Our Private Studio is a little piece of heaven, sleeping 2. It’s part of our main home, yet completely private with a private entrance and lovely patio. 

This lovely studio is part of our main home but is completely private. Is accessed via its own a private patio. The patio is the perfect place for sipping a glass of wine in the afternoon or enjoying your delicious continental breakfast, which is supplied in your room.

The full bathroom has a claw-foot bath, separate shower and toilet. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with an electric blanket and heating for chilly evenings.

Large flatscreen TV/DVD, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric frypan and kitchen hutch. Heating/air conditioning and free WIFI.

Included also are special touches of chocolates, fresh flowers and a small basket of fresh fruit.

Breakfast includes tea, coffee, juice, cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt. There are also a number of restaurants within a 10-minute walk.

Both the cottage and private studio include free WIFI

Relax and watch the visiting cockatoos, rosellas and kookaburras.

Close to all attractions. 15 minutes by car to the summit and 50-60 minutes by car or train to Flinders St or Southern Cross Stations in Melbourne.

A short walk to Belgrave shops/restaurants, train and bus stations and some wonderful restaurants. Drive to Grant's Picnic Ground for the walking trails. Catch a ride on Puffing Billy through a forest filled with Mountain Ash trees and tree gullies to Lakeside in Emerald. Maybe extend your train ride to Gembrook. Short drive to National Rhodedendron Gardens, William Rickets Sanctuary, Mt Dandenong Observatory and the quaint villages of Sassafras and Olinda.

Enquire to discuss special accommodation circumstances. The 2 night minimum stay applies to Fri, Sat and Sun. 1 night stay is okay midweek. Please enquire if you would like a 1 night weekend stay. Sometimes it's possible.

We can only accommodate 2 people in the studio as there's only 1 double bed. There is no room for extra beds.

Directions

Arriving by train – take Belgrave line and hop off at the last stop. Walk 10 mins or we’ll happily come and pick you up.

If you are coming to Belgrave by train, you get on the Belgrave line from Southern Cross station in Melbourne and go to the end of the line.If you are driving, we are east of Melbourne. So find Burwood Highway and drive east all the way out to Belgrave and turn left at Wattle Avenue. From the Monash Freeway get off at Ferntree Gully Road, turn left until you hit Burwood Highway. Turn right and follow it to Belgrave and turn left onto Wattle Avenue. GPS systems seem to work in this area. So if you have one, you are ahead of the game! Melways Map 75 E9

Most of the time I’m here to greet my guests. But on the off chance I cannot be here, I’ll inform you via phone or email as to where to collect the key.

Prices quoted are for 2 people only. Extra adults 16 and over are $50 more and extra children aged 1-15 are $25. There is a $10 charge if you would like to use our portacot and/or high-chair for your baby. 
No charge if your baby sleeps in your bed or you bring your own porta-cot.
