Romantic Vineyard

Romantic Vineyard is a great place for a family weekend away, and we have great rates too! We can sleep up to 6 people. Just 2 hours from Melbourne but a world away......

We have two rooms in the main house. The Cabernet room has a queen sized bed, a large sofa and a private bathroom and entrance. The Merlot room has 2 single beds or they can be made up into a king bed with a memory foam mattress laid on top. The Merlot room shares a bathroom with the owners. The Cabernet room and the Merlot room have TV's. The charge for each room is $110.

Our other accommodation sits about 50 meters away from the main house. It is a very comfortable studio cottage (one large room) with a heavenly king sized bed, sofa and single bed. It also has a sink and refrigerator to store snacks and drinks. The cottage bathroom has a shower.  Your soap, washcloths and towels are provided. The bathroom is in the back of the cottage and you walk under the terrace to the back to enter. (See the "side view") in the photo to your left. There are no cooking facilities.  We do not have an air conditioner in the studio, but can provide a fan for the warmer nights. If we should have 2  days over 35 we typically don't encourage bookings for the accommodation. In the winter you will love the wood fireplace which keeps the accommodation nice and toasty. We supply the wood and can start your fire for you. You also have a dual controlled electric blanket in your room. The main house does have great air conditioning in the common area/dining room which you are welcome to spend as much time in as you'd like. Typically it cools down in the evening.  The cottage also has TV with Foxtel channels, mood lighting and a very private outlook into the vineyard. The cottage rents for $150.

All our beds are very comfortable. We have down comforters (for the winter) and a choice of pillows.

Our beautiful screened in  patio is a great place to enjoy your meals relaxing amongst the native plants and flowers next to a trickling fountain in our pond. 

We also have a very comfortable dining area inside with a wood heater and split system on extra warm or cold nights. The dining area is decorated with interesting and eclectic original paintings collected from gifted artists in Georgia, Costa Rica and Australia.

One of the highlights of staying with us is the all inclusive pleasure of taking a complimentary tour of our winery, and brewery along with free tastings and gourmet dining without leaving the surroundings. The only thing you have to do is tuck yourself in your cozy bed in one of our vineyard view rooms with our very flexible check-out time. You can sleep in and enjoy your included continental breakfast of croissants, bagels, whole made bread and local jams with fruit, juice and yogurt. Did we mention the organic coffee made in our proper espresso machine?

We have 3 push bikes available for your use and miles of tracks through the nearby forests .  Or you can take a walk on the property and among the vines that spread over 19 acres of land.

And at night we have wine barrels and glider swings situated around our outdoor fireplace (in the winter) or gazebo in the summer where you can sit, sip, talk, listen to music or play your guitar. We have an awesome view of the night sky without the city lights to distract your view.
