Summertime Cottage is the ideal location for a relaxing break away with or without the family! Relax in laid back shack style with only a bottle of wine between you and the beach. Light the fire, drag over a couple of easy chairs and kick back… This spacious abode combines comfort and convenience with an outlook that is to be envied!
Stunning views from inside and out as you take in the absolute beauty and quiet activity of Southport’s bay. The beach fishing is second to none. A fishing rod will soon have a couple of good sized flathead in the bag. Squid can be caught from the end of the jetty at night, under the light.
Huge Oysters and mussels can be collected off the rocks past the boat ramp at low tide. Whether you are after a romantic getaway, a great family holiday or a week’s fishing, your dream holiday awaits you at Summertime Cottage.

We very much enjoyed Summertime Cottage and the beautiful Southport beaches. Both Crookfoot and Pearl came to visit - they were at first a bit perturbed by the presence of our dog but soon realised she was no danger to them at all. The possum came to visit too, and I know the wallabies did - it just proved harder to see them at night. We had a marvellous week, and left feeling very relaxed and very much enamoured with Southport! The beaches there are truly magical - blue, blue sea, white sands - just gorgeous. Great fishing too - not by us, but certainly observed by us. Many thanks for a lovely week/

It has taken me 40 years to finally find a place that is really unqiue. Peace and quiet and open air, wait for us somewhere. It's all there. Fresh seafood off the rocks and on the end of the line, open fire, cosy rooms, clean beds, great prices, no pretence, pounding waves all night long, great walks, good little pub, you name it. Our kids can't wait to get back again. The weather was the same as Melbourne, and that's suits us just fine, you can keep your humidity, give me the beach in Tassie any day.

A delightful spot. Great views,lovely deck, private position, a warm comfy cottage and a helpful and generous host. We loved it and will definitely visit again.

Beautiful and relaxing. We saw dolphins jumping in the bay from the front windows, and caught flatheadoff the beach right in front of the house. The estuary nearby was a great paddling spot for our baby.

Fantastic place! Very relaxing and rejuvenating. Quite a cold weekend but we still enjoyed walks on the beach and best of all the wood fire. Definitely recommend to friends and will visit again in the Summer. Thanks for a very easy to organise holiday!
