Description

This large, stunning home boasts 4 spacious double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open plan living and dining room, and a huge kitchen. The outdoor areas include a large and private garden with views of the surrounding bush, as well as a wraparound deck with several seating areas, a BBQ, and a sunshade, with Mt Wellington as the backdrop. This home is designed with convenience and comfort in mind, including remote controls for the bedrooms lights and a central vacuuming system. This spacious and bright house is perched high amongst the Tasmanian blue gums – it feels peacefully remote, but is just a 20 minute drive from the vibrant Hobart city centre and less than 5 minutes from MONA museum. 

More creature comforts in this tastefully furnished accommodation include free Wi-Fi, plenty of free parking, a well-equipped kitchen, a designated office space, and a laundry. This home is perfect for those extended family gatherings, or a group of friends exploring the state. 

This suburb of Rosetta quiet and tranquil. In contrary, the vibrant MONA museum is just a 5-minute drive away. Also nearby is Glenorchy, where you can find Northgate shopping centre which has all the essential services and clothes shopping, as well as a cinema, museums, and other attractions.

The suburb of Rosetta is peaceful, with a backdrop of the Tassie bush. Less than 5 minutes away is the world renowned MONA museum. The scenic mountainous drive through Collinsvale and Molesworth is also very nearby - take this road all the way to the historic town of New Norfolk, just 20 minutes away. Also nearby is Mt Filed, a stunning area of conservation full of age old rainforest and tranquil waterfalls. However, with views of the River Derwent, Mt Wellington, the Tasman Bridge, and MONA itself, we wouldn't blame you for not leaving your accommodation at all!

We would recommend hiring a car for your visit as this accommodation is 20 minutes from Hobart CBD and in the suburbs. However, there are bus stops about 10 minutes walk away, and plenty of Ubers and taxis.

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys. You will be liable for damage caused when doors have to be forced open owing to the key being lost and also cost of replacement keys and locks.


No responsibility is taken for the guest’s personal property left on the premises; however we will make every attempt to contact you should items be left behind. Cost of returning items will be at your expense.

We have a very strict No Party policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in instant eviction from the property. The number of occupants must not exceed the original number as stated when the booking was confirmed.

The place perfectly reflects the listing and photos. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The view from the porch is spectacular and you can see wallabies from the porch. The neighborhood was peaceful but close to town to pop in for breakfast and espresso. We loved it and would stay there again!
