Welcome to your personal rooftop sanctuary. The Rox Penthouse is a world above, yet right in the thick of it. Overlooking the vibrant streets of MidTown, Hobart’s most storied neighbourhood, this spacious, bright and impeccably styled self-contained penthouse is the perfect base to discover the city, and beyond. 
 
Start your day with a morning coffee on the rooftop terrace before wandering down to one of the many local cafes in the precinct. Browse the eclectic mix of shops in the city or set off for a day of exploring further afield. Whatever your plans, The Rox Penthouse allows you to make the most of every minute, while still having a private place to relax and unwind when you need it.

The Penthouse has two bedrooms, both with king beds and one with an ensuite. There is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen with huge sliding doors to the rooftop deck. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm, with tea, coffee, and milk provided. There is an additional full bathroom, a TV room with a Samsung smart TV and sofa bed, and a large pantry where you'll also find the laundry facilities.

All linen and towels are freshly laundered and provided. If you require more towels or a linen change during your stay, simply get in touch and we can organise this for you. We provide locally and ethically made shampoo, conditioner, and body wash 'Milie'.

There is undercover, onsite parking available for one vehicle during your stay.

Guests will be given detailed access instructions, with the key safe code, on the day prior to their arrival, assuming an ID has been obtained and payment has been processed. 

There is one free, undercover onsite parking space available. The apartment is accessible, with a lift to the floor and level access throughout.

Please note a 1.5% surcharge is applied to all credit card payments.

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys. You will be liable for damage caused when doors have to be forced open owing to the key being lost and also cost of replacement keys and locks.


No responsibility is taken for the guest’s personal property left on the premises; however we will make every attempt to contact you should items be left behind. Cost of returning items will be at your expense.

We have a very strict No Party policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in instant eviction from the property. The number of occupants must not exceed the original number as stated when the booking was confirmed.

Would certainly recommend this place, perfect for a larger group with lots of seperate areas. Host was extremely helpful and views were stunning. Uber rides easy enough to access to and from the city.

the rox is incredible. the rooftop is so lovely to relax in at any time of day. The whole apartment is luxe and so comfortable. I love the small touches like the keep cups and cold water in the fridge! So beautifully styled and the bed was the most comfortable bed I slept in the whole trip. Cannot recommend highly enough!!
