Located on the ground floor of Roxburgh House, one of Hobart's beautiful heritage listed old buildings, The Suite has all the conveniences sought by travellers - including a coffee maker, bar fridge, and microwave (no kitchen or laundry). It has space and grace in abundance - forget poky small rooms. Feel like a king or queen here!

From the grand hallway of Roxburgh House, The Suite opens into a large,  totally private, self-contained generous sitting/dining room which joins the high-ceilinged bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The bathroom is an ensuite and there is a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and toaster. Babies/children are welcome.

The Suite can accommodate 4 with a sofa bed in the sitting room, but it's more indulgent  for just 2 guests to enjoy the unique experience and luxury of being in a grand space for 2 only. Please note, there is not a full kitchen at this property - just a small kitchenette for the basics.

This is not a party suite and smoking is not permitted in the building. However, smokers are able to sit in the front garden and use the facilities provided. The Suite doesn't accommodate under 18-year-olds and does not take pets.The Suite has a small kitchenette, with a mini fridge, toaster, kettle, and microwave. We supply crockery and cutlery, as well as tea and coffee making facilities (including a Nespresso pod machine!). Who would want to cook on holiday anyway, when you have a huge variety of Tassie's best food right on your doorstep?

We require a copy of a government issued photo ID to be sent to us prior to guests arrival, e.g. drivers license. Strictly no parties, no smoking, and no pets. Please be mindful of noise in this peaceful building, out of respect for the other guests.

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys. You will be liable for damage caused when doors have to be forced open owing to the key being lost and also cost of replacement keys and locks.


No responsibility is taken for the guest’s personal property left on the premises; however we will make every attempt to contact you should items be left behind. Cost of returning items will be at your expense.

We have a very strict No Party policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in instant eviction from the property. The number of occupants must not exceed the original number as stated when the booking was confirmed.
