A spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, fully self-contained holiday apartment that comfortably sleeps 4 - 5 people (infants included). The apartment is accessed via a verandah which has views of Mt Wellington. Each bedroom can be configured with 1 king bed or 2 single beds. A comfortable single rollaway bed or port-a-cot can be added for the 5th person in the larger bedroom. Please advise this when you book.

Boutique Hobart holiday accommodation, conveniently located only a 6 minute stroll into the CBD shopping centre and an easy 12-15 minute walk to the iconic Salamanca Market on Saturdays, MONA ferry terminal and vibrant waterfront precinct with museums, art galleries, cafes and award winning restaurants. Perfectly located for all major sporting events at The Hobart Aquatic Centre, Blundstone Arena, The Tasmanian Hockey Centre and Domain Tennis and Athletics Centres; plus major festivals including The Taste of Tasmania, MONA FOMA, Ten Days on the Island, Dark MOFO, The Festival of Voices, The Wooden Boat Festival and finish of The Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

Our spacious, modern, clean and comfortable, self-contained two bedroom apartments are close to St Michael’s Collegiate School; a variety cafes, take-aways and restaurants offering local and international cuisines.  In our street we have a doctors’ surgery, child care centre, physiotherapist, pilates and yoga studios, a blend of modern and historic Georgian cottages and townhouses and local consulting businesses.

Across the street, we have an inner city oasis known to locals as the Rivulet Track (Hobart Rivulet Linear Park).  It’s a great, tree-lined path suitable for walking, jogging, running and cycling…and prams. Along the way there are cafes (one with a playground) and bridges crossing the Hobart Rivulet which flows from Mt Wellington/Kunanyi.  These bridges take you to streets in South Hobart which lead to local cafes and shops. A thirty minute walk will take you to the historic Cascade Female Factory prison where you can join a tour or see a re-enactment.  A few minutes further, tour and enjoy tastings at the the Cascade Brewery, Australia’s oldest brewery.

By making a booking with Hobart Cityscape and paying monies through this website or otherwise, you agree to our full Terms and Conditions. To use our website or make a booking via other means, you must be 18 years or older and must have legal authority to enter the agreement.

Prices are based on 2 people per night. Minimum 2 night consecutive stay unless otherwise stated. Extra adults and/or teenage children (13 years and over) plus children (1-12 years) incur additional charges per night. Infants under 1 years free. Maximum capacity in each apartment is 5 people including infants. Ages of children are required at the time of booking. A port-a-cot, high chair and baby bath can be supplied by prior arrangement in advance at an additional cost per stay. A 1.95% -2.95% surcharge will be applicable on all credit card payments, depending upon the type. An additional cleaning fee may be charged to cover the cost of professional laundering of linen and towels etc after your stay. This does not waive your responsibility for leaving the apartment in a clean and tidy manner.

We take care to avoid double bookings, however an online booking may be agreed to and then a subsequent booking is inadvertently processed before the 1st booking has entered our system. The 1st booking agreed to takes preference; the latter will be cancelled and monies received returned.

Under no circumstances shall the number of people occupying the apartment be greater than that appearing on the booking confirmation.

Wherever possible every effort will be made to accommodate guests in the apartment of their choice. On rare occasions however, Hobart Cityscape reserves the right to change guests’ bookings to another apartment depending upon circumstances. This is particularly the case when the accessible apartment is specifically required; when an apartment or item in an apartment requires maintenance; or when the facilities of a particular apartment would be better suited to another guest booking. In all circumstances Hobart Cityscape will be fair and reasonable and will consult guests in advance.

During your stay, you will be responsible for looking after the apartment and leaving it in the same condition that is was set up for you at check-in. A security bond of $500 is required per apartment booking prior to occupancy. The bond is required to cover incidental items including (but not limited to) any damages, loss, theft, excessive cleaning charges above the normal level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state, extra guests (over that stated on the booking confirmation), or other incidental items incurred by Hobart Cityscape as a result of your breach of the Terms and Conditions. Hobart Cityscape reserves the right to deduct these costs from your security bond. The security bond will be refunded within 7 working days after departure and once the property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar tidy state to your arrival and no additional charges applicable. The security bond will be refunded to the same credit card or bank account from which the security bond was paid.

All personal belongings, baggage, vehicles and other property of any description shall be the responsibility of the guest(s) at all times. Parking is at your own risk.

To assist in creating a safe and happy holiday with no injuries; disturbance to other guests; or charges for damage to property, all children are to be kept under responsible supervision of an adult at all times both inside and outside the apartments.

Payment Policy

A non-refundable deposit of the first night’s tariff (or 25% -50% of the total, depending on booking platform) is required to secure the booking. Balance of full tariff (plus security bond - see below) is to be paid 14 days prior to the arrival date. For bookings made within 14 days of arrival date, the total tariff must be paid at the time of booking.

No booking is confirmed unless you have received written confirmation from us that monies have been received and cleared. The person or entities registered as, or on behalf of the guest(s) agree to pay the full tariff and other charges incurred during the stay at Hobart Cityscape.

If full payment is not been received in the required time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. The property cannot be accessed until we have received and cleared the balance in full.

A refundable security bond of $500 is required per apartment booking prior to occupancy to cover damage and other incidental charges during your stay. The security bond is due 14 days prior to arrival at the same time as the outstanding balance is due. Bonds must be paid by credit card or direct deposit. For new bookings falling within the 14 days, the security bond is to be paid with the full tariff. The security bond will be refunded within 7 working days after departure and once the property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar tidy state to your arrival and no additional charges applicable. The security bond will be refunded to the same credit card or bank account from which the security bond was paid.

When you check-in, you may be asked to provide photographic identification (current driver’s licence, passport or other form of photographic identification to match the booking. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled and you may be liable to pay Hobart Cityscape an amount equal to the full reservation amount plus any other costs incurred by Hobart Cityscape in connection with your reservation. Sighting of the valid credit card used to make the booking payments may also be requested, along with signing of a registration form.

Occasionally a cleaning fee per booking may be added to the advertised nightly tariff. This is to cover professional laundering of linen and towels etc following your stay. It does not waive your responsibility to leave the apartment in a clean and tidy state.

Cancellation Policy

Once the booking has been confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable. Written notification (via email) of cancellation is required. The onus is on the guest to ensure that this email or notice is received by Hobart Cityscape. Hobart Cityscape will send you acknowledgement of the cancellation in writing (via email). Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival date will be refunded, less the non-refundable deposit. As an alternative to cancellation, you may be able to transfer your booking to a future date. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival date are non-refundable. In peak periods including Christmas, New Year, Easter, public holidays of festivals, any cancellations will be at Hobart Cityscape’s discretion. Should you be eligible for a refund, it will be made through the same payment method as at the time of booking. If you do not show up for your booking or decide to leave before your scheduled check-out date, you will not be entitled to any refund.

Comprehensive travel insurance with a reputable insurance company is recommended to cater for any unforeseen circumstances which may cause cancellation and loss of monies paid.
