Perfect CBD Location! Spacious, furnished &  well equipped, this apartment comfortably sleeps 2 people in a queen bed. The apartment has views of the Derwent and St David's Park directly opposite. Across the road from Salamanca Market, and 2 minutes walk to MONA Ferry, CBD, restaurants & bars, this apartment is sure to delight.

This apartment does not come with parking, but you won't need to hire a car, being so central. All the main tourist attractions have bus tours, such as Mt Wellington, Bruny Island, and Port Arthur. You can even get the ferry to MONA museum from the waterfront. There are electric scooters for hire all over the city too, providing a fun, cheap, and convenient way to travel around, without needing to fork out the cost for a hire car.

Please note: although this apartment is located in the 'Mantra apartments' building, it is a privately owned apartment managed by us (Retreats Tasmania) and has nothing to do with the Mantra business itself. Please contact us for any concerns or queries, not the Mantra Apartments business.

Check-in is available from 3pm to 8pm on weekdays, and 3pm on weekends. Please let us know if you will be arriving after hours - it is important we are aware of this otherwise we will not be able to get you into the building.. 

Please note, there is no parking included with this apartment. However, there is plenty on on street paid and timed parking available. On street parking is free overnight, between the hours of 6pm and 9am. Don't be tempted to over stay - the council are prolific in issuing parking fines. We would recommend not hiring a car due to the apartments central location - there are plenty of taxis, ubers, and busses, and most amenities are within walking distance.

We require a copy of your government issued photo ID to be sent to us prior to guests arrival, e.g. drivers license. Strictly no parties, no smoking, and no pets. Please be mindful of noise in block of apartments.

Please advise us if you will be arriving later than 8pm on a weekday, or 3pm on a Saturday or Sunday.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Tariff is per night unless otherwise indicated. Packages are per person per night above 2 people unless otherwise indicated. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.


Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard or Mastercard Debit are accepted.

Please note a 2.5% surcharge is applied to all credit card payments.

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys. You will be liable for damage caused when doors have to be forced open owing to the key being lost and also cost of replacement keys and locks.

No responsibility is taken for the guest’s personal property left on the premises; however we will make every attempt to contact you should items be left behind. Cost of returning items will be at your expense.

We have a very strict No Party policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in instant eviction from the property. The number of occupants must not exceed the original number as stated when the booking was confirmed.

The location was great, 5 minutes walk to Salamanca, 10 minutes to docks and city centre. Easy to access public transport (buses,scooters, taxi) Location was clean, well equipment with everything you could need for a well deserved break. Great views out and the washing machine was a godsend. Secure, comfortable and well presented.
