Description

Family friendly place - This is a gorgeous apartment for groups of friends or families (children and infants welcome) to stay in - has the charm of old architecture blended with classic modern facilities, and lots of SPACE. Child friendly and safe space. One car space available with the apartment which is offsite approximately 50 metres from Roxburgh House.

There are 3 bedrooms: one contains a king bed and a single bed; one contains a single bed with the large full bathroom next door; and one contains a queen bed with an ensuite. There is ample wardrobe and storage space throughout.

There is also a full kitchen, open plan style to the dining room and sitting area. The kitchen has all the creature comforts desired to cook up a storm; we even provide the tea, coffee, and milk to get you started. There is also a barista style Nespresso pod machine and milk frother (we provide the pods and milk).

The separate living room has ample, comfortable sitting space with a large TV, Chromecast included. There are books available for your use, and even some child friendly games in the cupboard.

The whole of the first floor is completely yours - including the balcony. So no neighbours - just the suite and an apartment below - (which could fit more of your group if required! ). So three groups of guests share this grand old building - each with their own completely separate space.

The one parking for this apartment is in a car park about 50 metres from the front door of Roxburgh House - you will need to display the key card inside the apartment on your car dashboard. However, there is ample on street parking right outside Roxburgh House for luggage drop off. Just make sure you either pay the tarrif, or someone stays with the car when unloading; the traffic wardens are prolific!

The surrounding neighbourhood is fabulous! Roxburgh House sits in a retail homemaker precinct with Freedom, Harvey Norman, Choice Floors etc, But there are also some of the best coffee shops in Hobart on its doorstep, plus some cool bars and pubs and some small retail shops specialising in music, art, games, toys and children and babies.

No need to have a car to get around the city, waterfront, and North Hobart from Roxburgh House - all are within easy walking distance. The MONA ferry at the bottom of Elizabeth Street is also a comfortable walking distance, and public transport, taxis, and Ubers all run right by the front door. Undoubtedly the best and coolest way to travel around the CBD is via the E-scooters available for hire all over the city - download the app 'Beam' or 'Neuron' to use.

We require a copy of a government issued photo ID to be sent to us prior to guests arrival, e.g. drivers license. Strictly no parties, no smoking, and no pets. Please be mindful of noise at late hours in this peaceful building, out of respect for the other guests.

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys. You will be liable for damage caused when doors have to be forced open owing to the key being lost and also cost of replacement keys and locks.

No responsibility is taken for the guest’s personal property left on the premises; however we will make every attempt to contact you should items be left behind. Cost of returning items will be at your expense.

We have a very strict No Party policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in instant eviction from the property. The number of occupants must not exceed the original number as stated when the booking was confirmed.
