Grindelwald Lodge - Master Suite

Originally built in 1983 by the Vos family, Grindelwald Lodge has been restored to capture the unique, Swiss Lodge charm.

Our guest lodge in Grindelwald offers spacious rooms that are available all year round.

Plenty of easy access, level parking in a secure acreage estate.

MAIN LODGE :Two Suite options in the Main Lodge where we offer additional guest accomodation.

Master Suite - King or twin long singles with 3rd single in the dressing room. Large Ensuite opens onto the terrace
Family Suite - Queen bed room,plus queen bed and single bed in large suite, which has a TV,DVD, Refrigerator, tea and coffee making nook.
Large Bathroom, bath, shower, Sauna along the hallway - not shared.

Main Lodge Suites do not have a cooking facility, breakfast is included and served. Evening meals two courses with house wine $15 pp in private dining room.
Private undercover BBQ garden, for outside dining.
Located 20 minutes drive from Launceston, on a plateau, overlooking 9th Island Vineyards and down the Tamar River Valley all the way to Launceston.

Master Suite Guests always Comment "Panoramic Views" is understated from the Master bedroom.
Suitable for a couple as a retreat,or extended group who book the second suite to accomodate maximum of 6.
Master Suite Guest Lounge has a large wood burning fire. 42" Screen HD TV, DVD & many movies.

We have a unique, Swiss Village atmosphere, with wide streets, large houses on acreage with beautiful gardens.
Lovely lake walks across the road, walk to the Swiss Village coffee shop or Tavern

Getting around

Limited Public transport, but we will offer airport pickup and can arrange a car and driver to take guests on tours, winery tours, scenic day tours.
Airport pickup $60 for up to 4 persons.
Day tours $25 per hour
