Wigley Retreat, at Wigley Flat in the beautiful Riverland, is your passport to secluded luxury boutique accommodation and stylish country style hospitality.
It is the perfect environment to enjoy a special occasion or romantic escape all with the mighty Murray River right on your doorstep.
Just two and a half hours drive from Adelaide and halfway between Waikerie and Barmera, Wigley Retreat is and ideal base for your Riverland escape.
Enjoy a few languid days of regional discovery, relaxation, revitalisation and much much more.
Wigley Retreat is a one bedroom self hosting B & B featuring modern amenities in an original settlers cottage on the bank of the Mighty Murray River (one of the few remaining).
There is a second double bed (sofa bed) in the sitting room.
It is secluded and has its own private entrance.
Minimum two night stay.
Not suitable for children due to proximity to river.
Please do not bring dogs or pets.
You are welcome to bring a boat or kayaks as we have a private sand boat ramp.
The outdoor fire pit may be used from April to October (outside the fire ban period). Please order firewood.

Saltbush BBQ meat pack
Elspeth and Graham breed merino sheep on the saltbush plains north east of Burra. The meat is processed by Mullers Meats at Monash and renowned for its great flavour.
The BBQ packs include 4 chops and 6 sausages and will be placed in your freezer.
Purchase a BBQ pack when you book.
The weather is perfect
Relax by the river or explore the Riverland's great attractions, food, wine, bushwalking and much, much more.
Wigley Retreat is just a 15 minute drive to Barmera or Waikerie and only 30 minutes away from Berri.
There are supermarkets in both Waikerie and Barmera.
You are welcome to bring a kayak or your boat to explore the waters.

This was our third stay at Wigley Retreat and it won't be our last. Even though the weather was awful we still enjoyed our stay in this little slice of heaven. Always enjoy the privacy and it's great knowing that if anything goes wrong the kind owners of this beautiful property are just a phone call away. Enjoyed our lovely gifts that were left as well. Thanks again and look forward to next time.
