It is rare to find a house (in Adelaide or anywhere in the world, really) where your front garden cascades directly to the sandy dunes and gently lapping sea you. We love this location and want to give you, our guest, the opportunity to experience the magic of living this close to the ocean.

This is a lovely, relaxed beach house that pays full tribute to the sea and views. Open the front door and the salty sea air and warm sun instantly takes you away from what ever is happening in the rest of your daily life. It is truly exhilarating. Don't come here if you are looking for something super modern or gleemingly glamorous because we believe that when you come to the beach you should feel comfortable and in the zone for all things related to the surf and sun. We want you to be fully present to the elements and enjoy the space. We expect you to feel you can traipse inside with sandy feet and leave your beach towels where they lay, eat your fish and chips inside or out and kick back and enjoy being somewhere incredibly special.

Our home is fully self contained and takes in the best sea (and sunset) views from the comfort of the couch in the living room to sharing a meal under the shade of the expansive outdoor dining area. The view from the master bedroom is extraordinary, too. There is sleeping room for eight with a king sized bed, bunk, 2 singles and double bunk in three separate bedrooms. Public transport is close by or there is off road car parking. Fully ducted air-conditioning/heating will make your stay here in the summer or winter months very comfortable. Two showers (one bath) and toilets, laundry and dishwasher help to make your temporary beach house a place to relax and enjoy. We welcome you to experience a truly special piece of Adelaide's local beach oasis.

WHAT'S IT LIKE??
This home has been furnished in keeping with a beach side feeling, with a splash of retro, using quality mid century items of furniture. Total inside space is approx 120 square metres, plus outdoor patio and rear courtyard of approx 100 square meters. Solid brick construction ensures privacy and minimal noise between our unit and the only other attached premise. There are no steps or stairs to get into the apartment and no stairs inside. There is a large garage which uses a remote control to operate the roller door.

- Bedroom 1 has 1 x king bed with walk-in robe
- Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed (single) and single bed
- Bedroom 3 has a very comfortable double sized bunk bed (double below, single above). There is a built in wardrobe.

- All rooms have ducted heating and air-conditioning

CHILDREN POLICY
Please advise if you are travelling with Infants and children so that appropriate bedding etc can be accommodated. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that children are adequately and appropriately supervised both inside and outside of the apartment at all times during the stay to ensure the child's personal safety and proper care of the property.

NO PARTY POLICY
This unit/condo is a privately owned property. When an accommodation booking is made, the use of the apartment, outdoor patio, gardens and grounds is for the number of booked and paying guests and while visitors are welcome they are not permitted to stay overnight, without prior notification. Parties, functions, celebrations and events of any kind are to be held with due respect to the neighbours and with consideration to the property.

LOCATION
Located in Westlakes Shore, a beautiful beachside suburb of Adelaide, between Semaphore and Grange, a 25 min walk north up the beach or along a scenic bike path (or a 3km drive) will take you to the town centre of Semaphore, with a wonderful selection of cafes, shops, pubs, bars, supermarkets and a cinema.

A 40 minute walk (4km drive) will take you to Grange, where there is a beach front café and pub.

It is a 2km drive to West Lakes Shopping Centre with large department stores such as David Jones and K-Mart, Coles and Woolworths supermarkets as well as a large range of speciality shops. There is also a Food Court and large cinema.

20 minute drive to the city centre of Adelaide. The city centre is also easily accessed by public transport, either via bus from the bus stop on the doorstep from Military Road or via train from nearby Glanville or Ethelton stations.

Approx 15 minute drive (12km) from Adelaide international Airport

We absolutely loved our 6 night stay at Sandpiper....right on the beach with no roads to cross. Huge big picture windows to gaze out of and watch the amazing sunsets over the water and the pods of dolphins cruising past. It is located in a very quiet and safe area and the beach is easily accessed via a path in front of the house. We walked in phosphorescent water at night; magic! The house (it's actually a duplex) is not huge but slept 5 adults adequately and can sleep up to 8 people. It was really clean and well stocked on arrival and we were able to have a cuppa before heading over to Westfield Shopping centre to stock up. No food shops close by though so not ideal if you are on foot. That said, everything else was just perfect and Gen was very helpful and wonderful to deal with. There is lots of stuff in the garage to take to the beach plus books, movies, games etc to amuse yourself with. There are some great pubs and restaurants within a short driving distance or if you're fit, you can walk along the beach to some of them. Overall, I would highly recommend Sandpiper Beachhouse for its quiet beachside location, amenities, cleanliness and ambience. Can you throw in a sandwich press and patio servery for our next visit? Perfectly positioned to enjoy a relax or play on the grass or stroll a few metres to be at the beach. Well equipped with leisure equipment for all ages. The house has a magnificent view to be enjoyed from the kitchen, dining room, lounge, master bedroom and the outdoor entertainment area. Suitable for a couple to a large family. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the metro area.

This is a great home/house because it is very clean, has everything you'd want/need and a perfect view of the beach from the lounge and you are on the beach in 2 minutes. The cupboards and garage are stocked with toys, games you can use. The bed is very comfortable and has a great view. You can even lye in bed overlooking the sea. A perfect house with great owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gen is a such an accommodating and lovely host!! Everything was set up for me and my family to enjoy our Adelaide trip (we wished we have stayed longer!) The whole property is immaculate and relaxing. The beachfront is just amazing and we will definitely come back to stay. Thanks Gen and family for everything!
