Large cottage enjoying big views over farmland through to the ocean..just one hour from Adelaide,South Australia

Getaway sleeps 6-7 people. There are 3 bedrooms. There are 2 Queen size beds (the master bedroom over looks the view ), plus 3 single beds in the third bedroom.

All beds have covered dunas, two pillows for each person,electric blankets,plus an extra blanket on each bed. We have two plasma TV"s for you to enjoy.

There is a large walk-in wardrobe adjoining the master bedroom .

The sparkling bathroom is large,and fully tiled , complete with a two man spa, and separate shower. There are two toilets for your convenience.

The kitchen is spacious and fully functional,with dishwasher, microwave etc enjoying the views.

We enjoy a large hooded BBQ with separate wok burner.

The dining area has an extension table that seats 6-8. We have decking overlooking the panoramic views on two sides of the home.

The northern entertaining deck is large and enjoys rural and ocean views,back dropped by the native garden and the Willunga hills.

There is a modern laundry.

Under cover parking for 2 cars.

You can swim and or fish on the Drive-on beach.There are fenced saftey sections of the beach for families.

Enjoy wine tasting, walking through the Aldinga scrub, bird watching, playing golf or fishing on the drive on beach,or perhaps book a joy ride at the Aldinga airport.

You are in the heart of the wonderful Maclaren Vale wine producing area with a variety of wineries and restaurants to choose from. Perhaps you may like to just pop over to the Willunga Organic market on a Saturday morning, or maybe just relax up at the historic Victory Hotel and enjoy their wonderful fare and panoramic view. Rapid Bay is a beautiful 25 minutes away. Why not visit Kangaroo Island for the day. You can either walk or drive on to the ferry. Victor Harbor is a 25 mins driv

Please ensure that you have read and agreed to our standard terms and conditions below.
Arrival and departure: Arrival is 2pm Departure is 10am.
In the event that the tenant, for any reason whatsoever, wishes to cancel a booking, or is asked to leave the property due to unacceptable behaviour, no refund will be made, unless the property is relet
for the entire period.
If a refund is made due to the property being re-let for the total period of the booking, a service fee of 10% of one weeks rental will apply.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings, due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property, but occasional abuse requires that we state the following
The number of guests should not exceed the number of beds stated in the property description, except if subsequently agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial .Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear and tear associated with functions
in terms of cleaning, garbage removal ,repairs etc.
Use contrary to this will result in loss of your bond and / or additional payments.
Damages and breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. This will be checked.
Please report any damages and breakages to the owner.
Departure: The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival .All furniture is to be put back in its original positions.
Please ensure that the BBQ is clean and the dishwasher empty.
An automatic fee of $33 applies for each job that needs to be completed by our cleaner.
Rubbish bins go out on Sunday nights.
Disturbance to our neighbours includes excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
Loss: The owners take no responsibility for tenants personal property.
IMPORTANT: We are on a SEPTIC effluent system, so no foreign objects to be flushed down the toilets. ie: tampons etc .Tenants shall bear the cost of repair if blockage occurs.
Please use allocated driveways to park cars/ boats/trailers etc. Parking on the lawn will result in money deducted from the bond.
The bond is payable to confirm booking. The bond will be refunded in full subject to the above conditions being met.
It is designed to cover additional costs incurred including but not limited to any breakage ,damage or excess cleaning requirements. no declared guests etc.
We are sorry .No pets allowed .We are next to a farm ,and the property is not fenced
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

"Perfect family summer holiday" Our family had a fantastic stay here. The house was neat and well appointed with everything you need. It provided an excellent base for exploring the regions beaches, wineries and restaurants and relief from the heat in the middle of the day with the aircon and sea breezes. We loved eating at The Victory Hotel and the Sellick Beach takeaway was a good option for fish and chips, ice cream and stunning beach sunsets!

"Well equipped cottage." The cottage is a good base to explore the surrounding area. Very comfortable to come back to each day. The Victory Hotel just minutes away is a great place to eat.

"Lovely property" Our family really enjoyed our time at the property. It was really well laid out and had everything we needed. The sunsets are gorgeous and the property was close to all the attractions we were interested in. Our host was very helpful as well.

What an excellent place to get away to.Communication with Jen was very good and instant. Horizons was spacious,clean,well presented and had everything anyone would need if they just turned up for a last minute stay.Trying to find any negatives about our stay at Horizons was impossible except maybe the walk to the beach was further than we hoped. But the beach would have to rate amongst the best in SA.
