The Lighthouse is situated in Port Hughes, only two hours from Adelaide, a picturesque coastal town featuring pristine beaches and calm clear waters, including a fantastic jetty that is widely renowned as a fishing hot spot!

Surveyed in 1863 and named after Sir Watson Hughes (who was one of the founders of the University of Adelaide), Port Hughes is ideally located just minutes from Moonta, Wallaroo and Kadina. With its focus on recreation and outdoor living, it is a perfect destination for couples and families alike.

Like many other emerging towns on the Yorke Peninsula, Port Hughes is experiencing significant growth with modern developments attracting more and more new residents and holidaymakers.

BALANCE OF PAYMENT
The balance of the payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. When the booking is made within 30 days of arrival the full amount is due within three days of the day the booking is made. If the balance is not made within the required time the booking may be cancelled and any funds already paid will be forfeited unless the property is re-booked. Payment can be made by funds transfer to The Lighthouse - Port Hughes account.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check in to the property is from 2pm on the day of arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation will incur an administration fee of 20% of the money deposited if the property is relet for the entirety of the original booking period. If not re-booked the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations within 7-14 days of arrival will incur the full forfeit of monies paid

RESPONSIBLE GUEST
The person whose name appears on the booking details is the person who is responsible for the behaviour of all people at the property and to ensure the property is left undamaged and in a tidy condition. By accepting these terms and conditions this person confirms they will be staying at the property and have not booked it for use of other people other than those accompanying them.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE STAYING IN THE PROPERTY
The number of people staying in the property must only be the number of people nominated when making the booking. Under no circumstances can more people stay overnight than the number of beds in the property. Extra people will be required to leave immediately. We also reserve the right to cancel the booking immediately with no refund of money.

FUNCTIONS
Bookings where any form of functions are involved (including e.g. schoolies, bucks parties, weddings) cannot be accepted. Any bookings that have been made by other people (e.g. parents) to circumvent our terms and conditions will result in immediate eviction from the property by our security contractors or local Police.

DAMAGES
Any breakages or damage to property or contents must be reported as soon as possible and paid for. If damage is deliberate you may be required to vacate the premises immediately.

PETS
No Pets Allowed

CLEANLINESS
Premises are let on the condition they are kept clean and tidy at all times and left in a clean and tidy condition when vacating. Please ensure kitchen and bathroom surfaces are clean, washing up is done and put away, and all internal garbage bins are emptied into external bins provided (red lid for garbage and yellow for recycling).

LINEN
The Lighthouse is equipped with blankets/doonas and pillows. Personal linen is not included unless stated otherwise. Please bring your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels. Linen hire can be arranged by contacting The lighthouse.

NOISE
Please remember you are generally staying in a residential area and that excess noise or behaviour that affects neighbours will not be tolerated. Guests who are making excess noise or damaging property may be asked to leave the property. Should this happen there will be no refund of any money paid.

Really fabulous house, in a beaut location,....very neat, clean house, with spacious rooms. We ALL had a beaut time there.....and would go back again !!!
