Aldgate Valley Bed and Breakfast is a self contained country style cottage nestled in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Our secluded cottage caters for one couple.

Whether you are needing a romantic peaceful getaway, or a base to stay whilst taking in all that the wonderful Adelaide Hills has to offer, your stay with us will be memorable.

We are located along the Aldgate creek, 20 minutes from the CBD, but it feels like a world away.

Enjoy breakfast on your own private deck overlooking the creek.

Enjoy the blooms and majestic trees whilst experiencing our tremendous birdlife, imagining how the garden and creek levels change through every season.

The Adelaide Hills is one of South Australia's favourite tourist destinations.

I believe it is precious country, and a cut above the rest.

The views alone are priceless, whether it be from The Mount Lofty Summit, or the view from a pavement cafe.

  • Friday and Saturday nights  $190 per night
  • Sunday to Thursday nights inclusive - single night bookings welcome
  • Friday and Saturday nights of stay require a two night minimum booking

We are located 5 minutes from historical Hahndorf, and 5 minutes from cosmopolitan Stirling, both of which offer great cafe's, shops, restaurants and unique village atmosphere.

Aldgate Valley road is one of Adelaides most popular bike riding routes with cyclist enthusiasts. 

We are situated 45 minutes drive from The Barossa and 45 minutes drive from The MacLaren Vale wineries.

Directions

  • Drive straight through Aldgate, over roundabout
  • Take first street on right after passing Aldgate Pump Hotel
  • You are now on Aldgate Valley Road
  • We are 4.2 kms from this turn off
  • Upon arrival to 118 on your right, and sighting our sign, veer right to picketed fence marked 'guest parking’
  • Please park alongside picket fence, near 'guest parking sign', ensuring our neighbour can still access their driveway
  • Proceed through picket fenced gate, down paved path to your cottage.
  • Please note we are not connected to the mud brick home next door. This is in fact our neighbours home who does not wish to be inconvenienced by guests approaching his door.
  • Please also note that we are in fact no: 118. The google map attached has us as no: 301, but the Council has just re/numbered our property.

Attractive tranquil location beside stream. Helpful hosts, and great location for exploring Adelaide Hills region and Fleurieu peninsula.Fabulous range of DVDs. Farm-fresh eggs in generous breakfast provisions.
