Built in 2007 and set on a quiet and leafy quarter of an acre, SeaKI is a fully self contained 4 bedroom home located in Kingscote, is ideal family accommodation for up to 8 people, and a great base from which to explore the island.

Main bedroom with ensuite and walkin robe and flatscreen TV, second bedroom with queen bed and built in robe, third and fourth bedroom each with two singles. Second bathroom with shower and bath.

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and two fridges. Open plan kitchen, living and dine with free Wi-fi (installed Feb 2018) flatscreen TV, DVD player and IPod dock. Main bedroom also has a flatscreen TV.

The beds in three of the bedrooms have recently been upgraded to winter weight quilts with additional good quality wool blankets and heaters available.

There are some tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar and jam in the kitchen.

Out side there is a deck with six seater setting and umbrella, and gas BBQ.

Reverse cycle airconditioning for all year round comfort.

A return or 'u'shaped driveway at the front ensures offstreet parking and room for the boat, with additional parking at the rear of the property. Fish cleaning facilities also available outside.

High chair and portacot also available.

Laundry with washing machine.

All linen supplied.

Soap, dishwasher powder, washing up liquid and laundry powder supplied.

The home is a short stroll to the precinct of Kingscote with its eateries, pubs and galleries.
The boat ramp is a few minutes away, or you can take a fishing charter or just throw a line over the wharf. SeaKI is a comfortable base from which to explore and enjoy all that the island has to offer.

Terms & conditions

Booking Terms & Conditions

​Base Rate is for 2 people per night.

2 night minimum booking.

0-3's free of charge.

$20 for every extra person per night after 2 people.

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid at least 28 days before check-in. If the booking is made within 4 weeks of check-in date then the account must be paid in full. 

Check-in after 3pm and check-out before 10am.

All linen and bath towels included.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to vary or cancel your Booking, please contact us immediately on 0412 716 364.

Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

If you have paid more than the deposit you will be refunded the amount paid in excess of the deposit required , or if you have paid in full and cancel your booking 80% of the booking cost will be refunded.

If cancelled up to 14 days before arrival, loss of deposit. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.

The total cost of the reservation must be paid at least 28 days prior to arrival.

All rates quoted are in Australian Dollars.

Refundable Damage Deposit (RDD)

A RDD payment of $150 is required. It will be credited to your designated payment method once our property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar state to your arrival. We agree to ensure this occurs within 7 working days of your departure.

Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Management (deemed beyond normal wear and tear) as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the RDD. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared.


You must comply with all applicable House Rules and all instructions from Management and the caretakers of the Property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbours.

You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion)

Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.

Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs over and above the normal cleaning fee which will be deducted from the security bond or charged to your credit card

All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived

The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. All keys must be returned to Management or as otherwise directed.

You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys.

"KI Old Boys Trip" The house provided an ideal base to see KI. Every year for many years we three boys have undertaken a 3 to 4 day Road Trip. Now in our 70s, we tend to not shift daily, but have one base.

"KI Cup Racing Trip" Great overall. Nice big BBQ, Good location, Good sized bedrooms. Two fridges so plenty of room for food/drink. Heaps of crockery/cutlery,etc. Nice easy and prompt communication in all dealings with the owners.

"A very comfortable residence" We had a great stay on Kangaroo Island and the hospitality and accommodation was an integral part of our experience. This is a genuine 4 bedroom home that sleeps 8. We had the luxury of being 2 in a good space. Everything worked for us and it was comfortable and tastefully presented. That wasn't meant to sound pretentious, because they have done a really good job of providing the comforts of a house anticipating most of the island's conditions and a level of decoration of the property that makes this more than a 'rental' , if you know what I mean. The kitchen was particularly well appointed and enough to enable me to do my own thing on one night at least. We ate out most nights and there are a few good places that we would recommend. Great communication from the owners kept us informed too. A big tick from us! I'd certainly choose SeaKI and Kingscote as the place to stay on the island again.

Cosy & Spacious Left on Jul 31, 2018 for a stay in Jul 2018 A perfect, high quality rental for our group of four in a nice quiet street. The large ensuite bedroom is at one end of the house & three more plus another family bathroom at the other end, giving us lots of privacy. Sleep quality was excellent! There is plenty of space outside for parking & the rear garden has large trees that attract the birdlife. The steps at the back & the walkway up to the front door are covered in non-slip matting & there is also a handrail. The dining table easily accommodates eight people & the lounge was perfect for watching the Tour de France in between sightseeing!! The kitchen is well equipped & the large pantry has plenty of dishes. The owners were so helpful & the keysafe system, with light, was so convenient when we arrived in the dark on the late ferry.
