Renovated Beautiful Holiday Home with Private Beach & Stunning Views!
** All guests are welcomed with a bottle of SA wine and chocolate **
Is this the ultimate in pet friendly Fleurieu holidays? We may be biased, but we think it is! Let’s start with its location: lakefront with a private beach! The downstairs living area, main bedroom suite, private courtyard and rear verandah all enjoy stunning views of the beach and the lake. If you want to do more than just sit and stare, drag our kayak a few metres from the back fence to the water line and go for a 4.5km paddle! Go for a swim. Play with the kids on the beach or in the shallow water at the lakes edge. Also features high speed Aussie Broadband Wi-Fi, Netflix and Stan! This is a truly glorious place to get active or just relax!
The two-storey house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just a few minutes’ walk from Franklin Parade (the esplanade at Encounter Bay).
The property has just been renovated upstairs and down with a brand-new kitchen, two new bathrooms (plus a third bathroom downstairs), LED lighting, new flooring and new furniture throughout.
As you walk in the front door to the hallway, there is a spacious downstairs light and bright bedroom, with a sliding door to the private courtyard, and a wall mounted TV. Next is a bathroom, which means those who are not able to climb stairs can reside completely downstairs throughout their stay. There is a separate toilet (nicknamed the “Harry Potter Room” because it is under the stairs) and laundry. The hallway ultimately opens onto the main open plan living area and kitchen. This space is filled with natural light and has a wall of windows looking out to the lake and private beach for uninterrupted views.
The kitchen has just had a full renovation and now features new stainless oven and cooktop, new black mixer taps and handles, dishwasher, double door stainless fridge, breakfast bar and contemporary pendant lighting.
In the main living area, there is a dining table and a lounge area with big LCD TV with Apple TV (with Netflix and Stan) and home theatre. This room has three sets of sliding doors: two leading out to the verandah overlooking the lake and one leading to the private central courtyard.
The 4-burner hooded gas BBQ sits in the courtyard, along with an outdoor setting.
Upstairs are three more bedrooms, including one that doubles as a second living space (with TV and Apple TV), and two full bathrooms (both just renovated). The main bedroom suite has a large walk-in robe (with views of the lake!), a brand new ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and a large bedroom space with stunning views of the lake. It has its own wall mounted TV.
The back verandah (facing the lake) is a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy the lake. There is a comfortable outdoor setting as well as two Ikea beach chairs that can be moved anywhere in the garden (or down on the beach).
For water activities, there is an aluminium row boat, kayak and surf ski available for guest use (with 4 life jackets of various sizes).
For indoor entertainment, there are four TVs (two upstairs and two downstairs), two Apple TV systems with Netflix and Stan, two DVD players, books, board games and, of course, the Aussie Broadband Wi-Fi internet.
If you want to walk to the esplanade at Encounter Bay, it is a flat 5-minute walk (there is a cut through at the bottom of Islander Drive). The house is within walking distance to 3 cafes (our favourite – The Beach House, The Boulevard Cafe (on the lake at Bartel Boulevard) and the Yilki General Store (extremely popular for coffee and an egg roll for breakfast!
Bedding Configuration
4 Bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: King size bed
- Bedroom 2: Queen size bed
- Bedroom 3: Queen size bed
- Bedroom 4: Double sofa bed (extra cost applies)
The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels and tea towels are all supplied.
There is a courtyard area at the side of the house that is completely enclosed to about 1.8M with a very small gap underneath the two gates (one at either end of the courtyard). The rear yard (facing the lake) is fully fenced but on the lake side it has a low pool fence of approx. 900mm. The back yard is lawned.
If this property is booked, we have another pet friendly property on the lake at Encounter Bay (33 Clipper Court). That fully renovated property has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, big living area with bi-fold doors to a pergola covered outdoor entertaining area (with lake views of course) and a separate courtyard.

Superb location with relaxing view over the lake. Great facilities. Just perfect for us (3 couples) as we all had our separate bathroom. We very much hope to return!

What a beautiful, luxurious place to spend a holiday away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet, peaceful by the lake and such a tranquil ambiance to the whole place. Best of all Symba and Saxon the laughingsiamese from twitter had a wonderful relaxing time too away from the computer - and behaved impeccably for the whole week. It was fantastic value during the off peak season and despite some rainy days it was still a wonderful place to be. Close to lots of Victor Harbor attractions. Highly recommended cant wait to come back!

We had a wonderful week staying at Pet Let 4. It is a welcoming and spacious house, in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The backyard overlooks a peaceful lake, that just makes the house have a very relaxing vibe. The kitchen is well equipped (great for those that find themselves itching to cook once they have found 'relaxed mode'). Best of all for us though, was the opportunity to take our 2 indoor cats on a break with us! They had a ball exploring the house and made themselves at home very quickly. We have already been talking of our next trip to this place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This property was wonderful. Very clean and highly suitable for my dogs who also loved it. It was so peaceful watching the kayakers sil past each morening ... and the ducks. It is a bit of a hike to Adelaide but well worth it. Victor Harbor is lovely and much cooler than the city in the Summer months which was appreciated.
