Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
A DEPOSIT will be taken to secure the booking and the balance is payable on arrival.
Deposit of the “First Night” must be paid to confirm your booking.
Payment via our Booking Button/Phone/ is with Credit Card. If you want to make alternative payment arrangements, you will need to phone or email us direct with your booking.
Bonds & Security Deposits – Management have the right to a bond of Cash or a Credit Card authorisation and is held as security against any damage or undue wear and tear. All Damages, breakages or losses to the property, furniture or furnishings will be paid for by the guest and must be reported to the Manager immediately.
All apartments are Non-Smoking. Please ensure doors & louvres are closed if smoking on the balcony. If there is a smoking smell inside the unit upon vacating we reserve the right to charge a $100 cleaning fee. Please use ashtrays provided.
The loss of keys will attract a replacement cost. If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival, minimum of first night accommodation at full one night rate.
Cancellations
• Deposit if fully refundable if notified 14 days or more prior to arrival.
• $50 Admin fee for cancellations between 8-13 days of arrival date.
• NO Deposit refund for cancellations between 4-7 days of arrival date.
• 100% of total fare will apply for cancellations made within 1-3 days of arrival date.
• No Show – 100% of the total booking will be charged to your supplied credit card.
• NO REFUND will be made for any early departures.
• NO REFUND for last minute and special discounted deals
• NO REFUND will be made for Weather events, flight delays, personal events etc – please seek travel insurance.
Prices – Includes up to 2 persons using existing bedding. Extra persons (max 2) at an extra charge. All prices are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change. Whilst every effort is made by us to provide current and correct quotes for your stay, The York Apartments will not be held responsible for human error in quoting tariffs and reserves the right to correct or adjust prices incorrectly quoted.
Phone & Online Booking Terms & Conditions – These are our standard conditions and apply to bookings made over the phone or by email. For all other conditions, including on line bookings, please refer to your confirmation email. The payment of your deposit confirms that you have read & understood all of the booking conditions set out below.
Final Payment – Final payment for your accommodation is due on arrival. All prices quoted include GST. If the number of people booked to share the property changes, we must be notified immediately of the revised number of people booked so a new rate can be confirmed and the property notified. Confirmations and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the guest accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation. Any adjustments within our cancellation/amendment times may be liable for extra fees or no refunds etc.
We accept all VISA and Mastercard credit cards (except for American Express or Diners). If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival, minimum of first night accommodation. Cheques are not accepted as payment for accommodation unless received, banked and cleared 10 days prior to arrival as a full pre-paid deposit. EFT payment is accepted and must be received prior to arrival with notification and authority to do so by management.
Arrivals – Please advise us in advance of your approximate arrival time or if arrival is outside "normal" hours. We live onsite but can arrange to leave keys in a keysafe for you. Check in is at 2.00 p.m. and checkout is at 10.00 a.m. promptly. We will endeavor to arrange an early check in for guests arriving from interstate or overseas, however please remember that the previous guests have not checked out until 10.00 am and the apartments must be thoroughly cleaned. Failing to advise management of extra persons sleeping in the apartment will give management the right to charge an extra persons fee (minimum $50) without notice to the card provided.
Departures – On check out, please return your key to Reception or if leaving early please check out the day prior, leaving keys on the kitchen bench. Lost or un-returned keys are charged @ $25 each per key and $10 each per tag.
You are responsible to leave your apartment with dishes done (left clean in dishwasher acceptable) in a clean and tidy state. A cleaning charge of one nights accommodation at rack rate will be charged to your credit card if your apartment is left in an unacceptable manner. No refund for early departures.
Accommodation – Accommodation arrangements are based on using existing bedding. This may mean sharing a queen bed. Persons under 18 years you must be accompanied by an adult. Moving mattresses to the living area, furniture to the balcony, hang towels or clothing items on the balcony is a breach of your agreement and penalties apply.
Extra Persons – Pricing is based on using existing bedding with up to 2 guests. People sleeping on the lounges will not be tolerated and may be charged for a furniture clean. Failure to advise of extra persons sleeping in the apartment will incur a penalty fee of $50 per night per person.
Service – A complimentary linen change will be done on the 5th day or as per your booking arrangement. You will receive start up amenities for tea and coffee, bathroom, dishwashing and laundry, toilet paper. Cleaning facilities, broom, mop, dust-pan are provided for you and you can borrow the vacuum from management free of charge. Pool towels are available for hire for the duration of your stay. Lost or damaged towels are charged at $20 per towel.
Security Arrangements – If Security is called out to the property because of a complaint, you may have to pay a call out fee and you may be evicted for breaching any of these Terms & Conditions.
Excessive Noise & Functions – Excessive noise and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to neighbors. In the event management is called to settle the disruption, the management have the right to keep your bond and you may be ask to leave the premises. If a security company is called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behavior a call out fee will occur. After one warning guests may be evicted.
Visitors – You are welcome to have visitors during your stay here at. Visitors are welcome to use the pool & BBQ whilst they are in your company. If you intend to have 3 or more visitors at any one time, management must be notified for permission.
Visitors are not to use the front Visitor carparks overnight. There is parking available on the Esplanade, as per Body Corp order.
