Sunset Cabins 1770

Situated in the historic beach town of 1770 (Seventeen Seventy), our modern sunset cabins offer you the perfect getaway. Our cabins include a full size kitchen, separate bedroom, and a bathroom including laundry facilities. You will be provided with complimentary tea and coffee. Shampoo, soap, towels and linens are all included as well. 

The front porch offers stunning views of the sunset with the opportunity to enjoy a meal on the outdoor table. With the beach located directly across the road and a marina with many different activities you'll have plenty to keep you busy during your stay with us.

Enjoy a morning stroll along the beach, located directly across the road from your accommodation. Have a morning coffee at one of the cafes or restaurants in the vicinity. Spend your afternoon exploring the scenic coastline walk where Captain Cook first set foot in Australia. 

Enjoy kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fishing and sunset cruises all within a few hundred metres of the accommodation. A day trip to Lady Musgrave Island also provides some of the Great Barrier Reefs best snorkelling. (excursions and hire and be booked with the various companies in town or through our office). Take a walk along the Butterfly track from the James Cook monument, to the Headland, with panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean, where you can spot sea turtles, dolphins and whales (in season). 

There is a local courtesy bus on some days, that will transport you from your accommodation to the local tavern/bottle-shop. Taxis or a shuttle bus are also available.
