Welcome to Bamboo Heaven an oasis where you can unwind and relax in luxury among the rustling bamboo. Set among 10 acres with beautiful rain forest and a unique bamboo grove with over 25 different species some towering 20m high you will quickly see why we call it Bamboo Heaven.

A stylish modern interior with a luxury bathroom equipped with all the essentials you have come to expect when travelling. I travel myself and one thing I hate is a shower that struggles to get you wet. Our shower has plenty of water pressure with detachable head for convenience.

A comfy queen size bed to recover from your day exploring or travelling. We have all stayed somewhere and the bed felt more like a torture rack than a place to sink into and drift off for a great nights sleep. There is also a sofa bed, if there is more than two of you, comfy enough, but I would vote for the bed.

A beautiful large lounge area to relax in filled with antique Asian furniture and ornaments. We believe that your environment helps your mood. We have done our best to create a space that is relaxing and inspiring.

If you feel like music, go ahead the cabinet is full of CD's and the CD player and record player are in the wedding cabinet, yes we have vinyl as well.

Your kitchenette is equipped with essential condiments along with supplies for a complimentary continental breakfast should you not want to go out and try some of the delicious breakfasts in the local cafes.

You are welcome to explore our property , we have rain forest with over 125 different species of plants, plus our unique bamboo grove complete with a little meditation pavilion if you would like to sit and meditate.

We also have an apiary onsite so you can try our delicious Bamboo Heaven honey, great on toast or crumpets.

A quiet and peaceful hideaway and yet a short 2min drive to beautiful Palmwoods village with its many restaurants, famous Rick’s Garage and Palmwoods pub.

If it is the surf you are looking for then some of the best beaches in Queensland are only 20 mins away. If however you would like to laze by the pool it is virtually outside your door.

For quiet meditation there is a small pavilion in the midst of the bamboo grove ideal for refreshing the mind.

Directions

The address is 8-26 Annona Court Palmwoods. We are the second driveway on the right about 100m down the road.

You will see a green Land for Wildlife sign on your right on pole. About 20m past the pole is the driveway on the right.
As you see all the shadehouses on your right and the huge bamboo......that is us. The number is at the end of the driveway.

As you get to the top of the drive there is a large clump of bamboo directly in front of you if you swing to the left and follow the drive you can park outside the door. Safe travels.

Payment Policy

 

CONDITIONS: Credit card details and a deposit payment of the first night are required to confirm your booking. Minimum nights stay applies to the Christmas and Easter breaks and all public holidays. Check in from 3pm. Check out by 10am.

Your stay dates may be changed up to 14 days PRIOR TO check in at no cost providing the dates are available.

No refund will be made if your stay is cancelled WITHIN 14 days of check in unless we can re-book all nights cancelled.

A $50 fee will apply to any refund.

We were thrilled to spend a night at Mark and Alisons place. The accommodation was great with every added extra one could hope for including breakfast a choice of coffee nibbles and a lovely bottle of wine but what really topped off our stay was firstly the wonderful hospitality of our hosts and secondly their amazing bamboo grove. Just to wander through there or stand peacefully was so good for the soul after a long drive.
