Description

The Macadamia Rainforest Suite, is a fully self contained suite situated in a separate wing of the main house. It features beautiful rose gum timber panelling, a relaxing claw foot bath, a bay window looking out to the forest, and private entry from, and access to, the house verandah. We take pride in the homely atmosphere, tasteful decor, attention to detail, and the personal touches of flowers, candles, chocolates and port. It is a special place to relax, unwind and enjoy the tranquillity of nature.

From the moment you enter your private rainforest suite you will feel yourself relax. Awake to the sound of whip birds, relax on the veranda, visit a local cafe or take a leisurely walk in the National Park.

At 650m above sea level, Mount Glorious is pleasantly cool in summer. In winter, as mists waft through the rainforest, warm yourself by the fireplace, with a glass of wine and a good book.

Our suite has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, cosy fireplace, serene rainforest views, plus all modern conveniences. To this we add features such as port, home-made chocolates, candles and fresh flowers. Massages can be arranged in your cottage - please enquire.

Mount Glorious is approximately 45mins drive from Brisbane CBD (slightly more in peak hour)

From Brisbane – follow either Mt Nebo Rd from The Gap (approx 25km), or Mt Glorious Rd through Samford, to the T-intersection of Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious Roads. Continue another 2km along Mt Glorious Rd to the “Mt Glorious Village” sign. Turkey’s Nest is 300 metres on your right, the fifth letterbox  #1780.

Terms & conditions

To confirm a booking we require a deposit of 50% of the total accommodation cost, payable by credit card over the phone. Balance is payable on arrival.

Cancellations between 30 days and 14 days prior to arrival date will incur a 25% cancellation fee.

Cancellations between 14 days and 7 days prior to arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 7 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

A waiver of these cancellation fees may apply if we are able to relet the property.

Pets - As the property is a wildlife refuge under the Land for Wildlife scheme we unfortunately cannot allow pets.
