Description
Seclusion and privacy, beside the pristine rapid-filled headwaters of Christmas Creek. Wongari is Lamington National Park accommodation where you can laze in a hammock under the rainforest canopy, read a book, watch the birds or swim in the private rock pools of our creek. For the more adventurous, there’s plenty of opportunity to explore. Wongari sits nestled in a spectacular gorge setting, with gentle walks on our property along both our creeks.
The renowned Stinson Grave and Wreck walks are easily accessed, although a guide is recommended if you’re not an experienced walker. Serenity Cabin sits in its own private 10 acre section of our property, with 200m of private frontage to Christmas Creek, so you’re guaranteed not to be disturbed. The holiday cottage is fully self-contained with a wood oven, rainforest deck, king-sized bed and a glass-enclosed shower overlooking rainforest garden.

A perfect place to unwind, recharge and exists amongst nature. Both properties Serenity and Bimbul are STUNNING!!!!! So private where you pretend you are the only people around. I love to cook and Brad and Mark have thought of everything that you could possibly need (even sharp knives). Oh and the bathrooms are incredible and with a view! Thanks again guys. You really know how to make us feel special and reconnected.

"Peace & Tranquility" My husband and I stayed at the Wongari Eco Retreat in the Serenity Cabin, to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We can both highly recommend this beautiful, tranquil secluded peace of the country side and both feel lucky to have been able to have shared and experienced this little haven. No WiFi but we did not miss that as we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and phones and computers, you can stream your music via blue tooth. Ticked all the boxes for us, and are looking forward to returning again one day.

"Awesome" Booked a 3 night getaway. What an amazing hidden treasure. Mark and Brad who own the property have invested time, passion and love into the 2 cabins. We had perfect winter weather which only enhanced the beauty of the area and the cottage we stayed in. Cottages are Eco friendly, well appointed and embrace the natural landscape. We did the cave rock walk which was well worth it and offered amazing views (once you manage to climb through the narrow cliff gap) Absolutely perfect. Thank you Mark and Brad. See you again soon!

This is truly one of the most magical places we have ever been. We wanted some place secluded and romantic, somewhere to reconnect and relax. we got that, and the cottage and surrounds exceeded expectation. We wanted for nothing and the attention to detail was amazing. We loved every second at Serenity and will definitely be back.
