Magnums is not a suitable venue for children as our property adjoins a large Hotel and Night Club, and although the accommodation is set well back from these facilities, access to the accommodation is through the large beer garden. 18+ only.

All guests are offered free off-site parking, accessible via back gate at the rear of the property.

Travel Directions

FLYING: Fly to Whitsunday Coast Airport at Proserpine. There are coaches, shuttles, taxis, limousines and hire cars available from the Airport. (Whitsunday Transit Bus service meets all Arrivals - Please contact us on  1 800 624 634 if you would like us to book airport transfers).Alternately, you can fly to Hamilton Island and take the Ferry to Por of Airlie.

DRIVING: Driving north you will pass through Proserpine, turn right towards Shute Harbour and Airlie Beach (clearly signed). Travel for approximately 20 minutes past Whitsunday Plaza Shopping Centre (on the left), Cannonvale Shopping Centre (on the right) and Coral Sea Marina (on the left). Follow Shute Harbour Road to the heart of Airlie Beach where you will find Magnums on the right side of the road under the big Clock Tower.

TRAIN: Take the train to Proserpine Train Station. Whitsunday Transit Coaches meet all the trains and will deliver you to our doorstep.

BUS: Take the bus to Airlie Beach Bus Station. It is a short walk to Magnums or you can catch a taxi for a small fee.

FLYING: Fly to Whitsunday Coast Airport in Proserpine. There are coaches, shuttles, taxis, limousines and hire cars available from the Airport. (Whitsunday Transit Bus service meets all arrivals) We can book airport transfers, please call us on 1 800 624 634 to arrange. Please note ONLY REGISTERED guests may enter the room they have registered for as well as on the property. For your safety and that of your personal property, Magnums has a NO VISITOR POLICY.  Fees will apply for unregistered guests and late checkouts. Checked out guests must not re-enter to use our facilities unless by prior written arrangement with management.

Refunds will not be issued after check-in unless authorised by Management.

Magnums has a NO PARTY policy. NO refunds will be given in the event guests are required to check out early as a result of any security or property damage issues. Guests will be responsible for fees incurred in the event of failure to checkout, return room key, damages to room or property, smoking in room, additional cleaning fees if room not left in an acceptable condition, missing linen and/or room furnishings.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS: Bookings are only confirmed once credit card has been successfully processed. For your convenience - we will process your payment in your home currency. Refunds will not be issued after check-in unless authorised by Management.

All guests must be over 18 years to stay at Magnums. ID is required on check in.

Booking cancellations or amendments must be made at least 48 hours prior to check in date. If booking is cancelled within 48 hours prior to check in, the full amount of the first changed or cancelled night will be charged.

RECEPTION

1. Reception is open daily between the hours of 8:00am to 8:00pm. If your room is ready when you arrive you are welcome to go straight in. If it's not ready yet, we do offer free luggage storage until it is.

2. If you are arriving after 7:30pm you will need to contact Reception on 1800 624 634 prior to your arrival to organise a late check in.

3. Whitsunday Transit meets all flights arriving at the Whitsunday Coast Airport.  Their terminal is adjacent to the airport luggage collection area. We are more than happy to make this booking for you.  Please call 1800 624 634.

Greyhound / Premier Terminal at Port of Airlie is just a short 10 minute walk from Magnums.

4. Magnums offer Free WiFi and Free parking to all our in-house guests. Parking is situated at the rear of the property and is accessible via back gate. Parking permit must be displayed clearly. Luggage storage is available - please ask our friendly team at Reception.

The best! This place was just amazing. It is centrally locate right in the town centre of Airlie with easy access to everything. It is literally next door to woolies and restaurants,pubs and bars and only 5-10 minutes walk to the marina or port of Airlie which was super convenient! Not only that the beach and the lagoon are just across the street! The room we stayed in was a fully self-contained cabin and it was clean and got everything that we needed to have an enjoyable stay. If you haven’t got you tours and activities sorted, the front reception also book tours and they will do everything in their power to help you especially Jules. My partner require prescription mask for snorkelling and Jules went out of her way to contact local diving hire for us that supply this type of snorkelling mask. I can’t recommend Magnum’s highly enough so please do yourself a favor and book a stay with them (:
