Darwin City Hotel is a 15-minute drive from Darwin International Airport. Our main entrance is located on 59 Smith Street in Darwin’s Central Business District (CBD). Our back entrance is located on Shadforth Lane, running off of Knuckey Street.

Non-Smoking Policy
Darwin City Hotel is non-smoking property. A fine of $500 AUD will be charged to the credit card on your reservation file should you choose to smoke on the premises.

Minimum Age Requirement
Each room must have at least one registered adult aged 18 years or older.

Cancellations and Modifications
We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy on all reservations. Reservations cancelled within this time frame will be subject to the charge of a full night’s accommodation or the total of your stay. Modifications to your reservation must also be made 24-hours before arrival.

Check-In and Check-Out Times
Please note that check-in time is 2:00PM (1400). Check-out time is 11:00AM (1100). Unfortunately, during peak season, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. Exceptions may be made depending on hotel occupancy. Please contact our Reception Team in advance.

Credit Card Authorisation and Deposit
Every guest is required to provide a credit card for incidental charges and room payment, if required. The hotel will process a preauthorisation on all credit cards if this method of payment is preferred. If a guest does not wish to use a credit card for payment, a cash deposit of $300 AUD will be required as a bond for incidental charges. Incidental charges include mini-bar purchases, damages, and charges associated to non-compliance with policies.

Credit Card Surcharges
All credit cards will be subject to a 1.5% surcharge fee which is calculated during processing.

Identification
A valid form of identification such as a driver’s license and passport must be produced upon check-in. The hotel will take a copy of this document for security and safety purposes.

We are able to assist with your transportation inquiries to Darwin International Airport and surrounding.

Non-Smoking Policy
Darwin City Hotel is non-smoking property. A fine of $500 AUD will be charged to the credit card on your reservation file should you choose to smoke on the premises.

Extra Guests
Additional fees are applicable for the extra adult occupying the room and will be charged the Extra Adult fee of $50 per day per person. 

Infants 0 to 2 years utilizing a cot is free of charge. Children aged from 2 to 12 years old will be charged the child rate of $30 per day per child. Adult rates are 12 years and over. 

Car Parking
Secure, on-site car parking is available for an additional daily charge when booked prior to arrival. The rate per day depends on the number of car park bays requested and the length of your stay. Please contact our Reservations Team for to book a space and for pricing information.
