Description

You can enjoy fishing, surfing, bush walking, bike riding or just relax at the beach staying in a friendly home, in a studio with complete privacy and own deck overlooking the river.

The room is semi-attached to our main house but has its own entrance and deck. It is a self contained room with a little kitchen and bathroom and we offer coffee and tea facilities.

Enjoy the buzz of Huskisson shops and cafes and have at the same time a bush experience staying in a quiet and pristine neighbourhood surrounded by wildlife and overlooking the river.

The Shoalhaven region is blessed with one of the most scenically beautiful landscape on the east coast of Australia. With powder-fine white sand and clear turquoise waters, Jervis Bay's famous beaches are amongst the safest and most beautiful in the world.

Unique combination of coastal, marine and hinterland National Parks offering fantastic bushwalking, cycling tracks, Indigenous culture, cliff-top lookouts and maritime heritage.

Teeming with native Australian wildlife on land and sea, resident dolphins play in the bay all year round. See kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, parrots and many rare species in the wild.

One of the best places in Australia to witness whales on their annual migrations, humpbacks and southern right whales can be seen both offshore and inside the calmer waters of the bay.

The many beaches, lagoons, secret coves and hidden creeks are perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, standup paddle boarding and surfing.

Unspoiled coastal and country villages with local produce markets, boutique shops, art galleries and a terrific museum. The area boasts world-class cafes, restaurants, pubs and wine bars.

Jervis Bay is central to all the South Coast has to offer: Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Ulladulla all the same distance away and we are close to all the south coast wineries.

>> Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period. If it a refund is made due to the property being re-let then a $50 cancellation fee will apply.

The best thing about Le Shack is that it is dog friendly. We are used to very basic accommodation because we like to take our dog on holidays with us. However, it was very small and cramped. It had one feature which if I had known about beforehand, would have been a deal breaker for me. It did not have a bathroom. It had a shower and a toilet but you had to wash your teeth etc in the kitchen sink. This was not acceptable. Owners were lovely but the accommodation was sub standard.

I am sorry the guest felt that way about the accommodation. The room is small but very cosy. We charge less than a camping site and guests have free access to huge backyard, waterfront, kayaks, bicycles and fishing rods. And Most importantly no crowd around. Most hotels do not have a kitchen and guests need to wash their tea cups and plates and fill up their water kettle in the bathroom sink which is highly unhygienic but seems to be acceptable to our guests whereas having a proper kitchen sink to cook but having to wash their hands in a kitchen sink seems unacceptable ...For the outdoor space, outdoors activities Offered at no charge, cleanliness of the room, privacy, closeness to town and yet secluded and quiet, you couldn’t find a better priced and good value for money place.

"A quiet retreat in an ideal location" We enjoyed a relaxing week down from Sydney. 'Le Shack' was perfect. A lovely little place in an ideal location. We can strongly recommend 'Le Shack'.

"Very comfortable" Wonderful hosts. Lovely property fully fenced which my pup just loved running around. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Nice, quiet, peaceful area. I left a sweater behind which Dom kindly posted for me.
