The guesthouse is a large State Heritage listed Mediterranean style villa built in 1923 set amongst 6000 sq m of cool climate garden with spectacular views to the world heritage Blue Mountains National Park. Fully serviced, Bed and Breakfast style accommodation is available in the Guest House, Chauffeur's cottage and Maid's Quarters.

The Chauffeur's Cottage & Maid's Quarters is self-contained, however you can opt to include a full country breakfast on these packages . All rooms are individually decorated with hand made quilts, original art work and mixture of antique and modern furnishings. They are centrally heated, with tea and coffee making facilities, television with movie channels and in-house phones.

Walking distance to restaurants & train station in Wentworth Falls village. Silvermere Guesthouse has now opened a new restaurant Nineteen23 which is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6pm and lunch on Saturdays and Sundays from noon. Head Chef Will Cowan-Lunn offers the diner a regularly changing, seasonally driven array of dishes that showcase produce from across the Blue Mountains and NSW Central Tablelands. Travel Directions

By Car From Sydney - 1. Join the M4 from Sydney(directions to Parramatta, Penrith or Blue Mountains). This joins the Great Western Highway after Penrith. Make a right hand turn off the Great Western Hwy at the sign directing to 'Wentworth Falls shops' about 8 km before Katoomba. Follow this road (Station Street) over the railway crossing (where this road becomes Blaxland Rd). Lake st is second on the left after the railway crossing. 2. On the Great Western Highway (going towards Katoomba) turn right at Wentworth Falls Shops (opposite Grandview Hotel which is on the left-hand side). 3. Continue through the shops and across the bridge over the railway line. 4. Lake Street is the second street on the left-hand side after the bridge. 5. The entrance is clearly signposted about 40 metres up the hill on the right hand side. 6. The Chauffeur's cottage is on your right as you drive in the gate. 7. For the main house drive up to the turning circle at the top of the drive and park; walk up the steps to the front door. By Train - Pick-up is available if phoned through in advance. Alternatively their are taxis outside the station, or it is a 10 minute walk from the station.

Check In : 2pm Check Out : 11am Please advise of your estimated time of arrival, and notify us if you will be arriving late. Reception hours are 8.00am-6.00pm. However, managers live on site therefore anytime is ok as long as notified.

"Exceptional" Our host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with cereals , fruit and a cooked breakfast available.
