About  the  Manning Valley

Located less than 3 hours north of Sydney, the region covers an area of 3,752 sq km. It ranges from Johns River to the north, south toward Bunyah and west to Nowendoc.

The Valley is focussed around Taree, with the towns of Wingham, Old Bar, Harrington and Hallidays Point major population centres. We have a population of approximately 48,000 residents including around 2,000 Indigenous citizens.

Scenic drives around Taree are some of the best in NSW; don't miss the route through the Coorabakh National Park, with Ellenborough Falls a highlight, and through Tapin Tops National Park. 

Boating, fishing, swimming and surfing are popular at pretty coastal towns from Wallabi Point to Crowdy Head. Don't miss the beautiful beach at Saltwater or the Crowdy Head Lighthouse which is great for whale-watching (in season).

Nearby towns worth visiting include Cundletown, Tinonee, Hannam Vale, Wingham, Harrington, Old Bar, Manning Point and Halliday's Point.

Mark could not do enough for us after our late arrival to ensure we were quickly and comfortably settled in.  Room 20 had all we needed.  It was spotless, bed very comfortable, hot shower, table and comfortable chairs, good size TV, breakfast of poached eggs on rye bread perfectly cooked and very filling.  New management, off to a flying start.  Highly recommend.

I have just spent 3 nights at this motel. From the phone call to book in to paying the bill on leaving, everything was perfect, Mark & Ken were polite, friendly, courteous, helpful and had a great sense of humour. The breakfasts were tasty, well prepared and delivered to your room with a cheerful greeting. The cleanliness of the rooms and the grounds were perfect. Would definately stay there again next time I visit Taree.

This motel would have to be the best motel we have ever stayed in ,for price ,cleanliness ,friendliness ,location and every attention to detail ,we booked in for 1 night ended up staying for 3 nights ,magnificent breakfast and lovely.towels folded each day into animals ,what an absolute gem of a motel ,do not go anywhere else stay here
