Description

Woolshed Hill Estate is the perfect Hunter Valley escape in the heart of Wine Country. The estate can accommodate up to 30 guests and welcomes families, friends, weddings and corporate off sites. With 12 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a sparkling saltwater pool, all weather tennis court and your very own private golf course, you really don't need to leave! The kids are taken care of too, with an adventure cubby house and a water slide into the pool. There are BBQs at both buildings with the main BBQ area undercover with lighting and views over the golf course and dam.

For smaller groups you can choose to stay in either The Homestead and Cottage with 8 bedrooms, or The Residence with 4 bedrooms.

Spectacular sunsets over the majestic Brokenback Mountain Ranges present a serene backdrop to the many vineyards that surround the property. Stroll through the beautiful gardens, enjoy a round of golf or a walk in the native bushland, perhaps you may even encounter a kangaroo or two.

Directions

Woolshed Hill Estate is located in Pokolbin, approximately 2 hours drive north of Sydney along the M1 Pacific Motorway.

  1. Do not take the Cessnock turn off the M1 motorway from Sydney
  2. Continue along the M1 motorway until you see the exit to Singleton - HUNTER EXPRESSWAY
  3. Travel along the Hunter Expressway for approximately 30 kms
  4. Take the WINECOUNTRY Drive exit (near Branxton)
  5. Follow Winecountry Drive for approx 8kms and then turn right intoMcDonalds Road (you will see a large sandstone sign for the Vintage at the corner)
  6. Turn right into Deasys Road and we are approximately 2.5 kms along at the top of the hill on your left

Terms & conditions

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

  • A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. MasterCard, Visa or direct deposit will be accepted. Your booking is secured once the deposit is received. No tentative bookings will be taken.
  • A 1% credit card surcharge is payable on all MasterCard or Visa Card transactions.
  • Payment of this deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of our "conditions of booking".
  • On check-in you will be required to sign our Guest Register with a valid credit card (MasterCard or Visa only) as security.
  • If additional cleaning is required, this will be charged and all damages must be paid for.
  • For group bookings over 12 people a $500 security deposit is required upon check-in, this security deposit is fully refundable if the accommodation and contents do not suffer damage or require excess cleaning. If there is damage in excess of $500 you will be responsible for the total payment of the damage. The credit card that you have provided for the security deposit will be used to pay for all damage & excess cleaning up to & in excess of the $500 amount. Your credit card will not be debited without prior notification.
  • Please leave the accommodation in a tidy condition.
  • No smoking indoors.
  • No pets allowed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If you cancel a booking, your deposit is non refundable unless the accommodation is re-booked.
  • A no-show and/or cancellation on the day of check-in will incur one night's full tariff.
  • Any refund of deposit will be subject to an administration fee of $50.00

We had a great time at Jenni and Kristy’s place. Great communication in the lead up to our booking. Location was great - near many wineries. House was lovely and spacious - great for a big group! Would highly recommend!

"Elegant old country charm" We stayed here for 4 nights, and it was relaxed and comfortable and I didn't want to leave. We made use of the extensive kitchen facilities to cook meals, and the wood fire provided a wonderful atmosphere. The grounds are well kept and the private golf course and tennis court allowed us to have some fun without offending serious players! We didn't make use of the pool as it was a little chilly but it looked wonderful. Highly recommend a stay here for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

"Very good!" Myself & 9 girls had a great time on the property. Waking to the kangaroos was perfect! A cold month to stay in June but the fire was wonderful!
