The Homestead is close to all the Hunter has to offer including wineries, restaurants, concert venues, hot air ballooning, golf courses, horse riding and more – the perfect place for a family reunion or gathering of friends.

Directions

From the Hunter Expressway

If you’re travelling on the M1 Pacific Motorway from Sydney or Brisbane the easiest way to get to Hunter Homestead is via the new M15 Hunter Expressway. From the M15 take the Lovedale exit then the first exit at the roundabout onto Lovedale road. Follow Lovedale road for less than a kilometre, turn right into Camp Road then immediately left into Talga road.  Hunter Homestead is on your right approximately 3km from Camp road.

Note: there is no exit to Lovedale Road on the M15 travelling South East from the Singleton direction.

From Sydney via Cessnock

Take the M1 Pacific Motorway (formerly F3 National Route 1) out of Sydney and travel north towards Newcastle. After about an hour’s drive take the Cessnock exit, Route 82. Follow Route 82 through Cessnock and onto Allandale road which becomes Wine Country drive. Turn right onto Lovedale road at the Hunter Valley Golf & Country Club. Travel along Lovedale road for 9km then turn left into Camp road and immediately left again into Talga road.

From the New England Highway

From Singleton, travel through Branxton and at Greta turn right into Camp road toward Lovedale road. Just before you reach Lovedale road turn right into Talga road.

From Newcastle, travel through Maitland and just after Lochinvar take the left turn into Allandale road which becomes Lovedale road. Turn right into Camp Rd then immediately left into Talga road.

Balance due on arrival at Hunter Homestead

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 14 days prior to check-in date or you will be charged the full amount. 
If less than 21 days notice of cancellation is given the deposit is forfeited unless house is rebooked for the same period. 
Bookings failing to show will forfeit full amount of booking.

“FANTASTIC COTTAGE” it's a very comfortable cottage. Thanks for your help on gas barbecue. They are very nice and warm-hearted. We love the horses and kangaroos outside the cottage. It is about 15-mins drive to the wineries. Very nice stay.

“Fantastic views, perfect weekend celebrating my daughters hens weekend. Would recommend property.” The privacy, the ability to gave so many people stay and have their own room. The owner was so accommodating and welcoming surpassed our expectations with juice margarine bacon n eggs in the fridge. There was every utensil you could think of. Loved the coffee machine.

"Good" Location really nice setting away from the main town, really nice sitting out on the deck for breakfast watching the kangaroos milling about. Bed pretty comfy and ample pillows and blankets. Breakfast good.
