We offer boutique accommodation in eight beautifully designed and tastefully furnished villas. Choose from spacious one- or two-bedroom villas, nestling in 25 acres of lovely Australian bushland.

Directions

Use the following instructions to ensure your journey to Wine Country Villas is smooth and straightforward:

By road from Sydney:

  • From the centre of Sydney, cross the Harbour Bridge and travel along the Pacific Highway north to the F3 freeway at Wahroonga.
  • Travel along the freeway towards Newcastle for about one hour, then turn off at the Cessnock/ Kurri Kurri exit and head to Cessnock.
  • When you enter Cessnock along Aberdare Road, turn RIGHT at the first set of traffic lights onto Vincent Street.
  • Drive to the end of Vincent Street and at the lights turn LEFT onto Wollombi Road, and then take the first RIGHT at the next lights onto Allandale Road. (You’ll pass a McDonalds on the right.)
  • Follow the signs for Hunter Valley Gardens. Approximately 10 km out of Cessnock, past Cessnock Airport, turn LEFT onto Broke Road.
  • After about three kilometres you’ll reach a ‘T’ intersection: turn LEFT onto McDonalds Road and then take the first RIGHT onto Thompsons Road.
  • Wine Country Villas is around 1.4 kilometres along the road, on the right-hand side.

By road from Newcastle:

  • From Newcastle follow signs to Hexham and then to Cessnock.
  • When you enter Cessnock drive along Wollombi Road and go straight through the first two sets of traffic lights.
  • At the third set of lights (right next to the Cessnock Hotel), turn RIGHT into Wine Country Drive.
  • Follow the signs for Hunter Valley Gardens. Approximately 10 km out of Cessnock, past Cessnock Airport, turn LEFT onto Broke Road.
  • After about three kilometres you’ll reach a ‘T’ intersection: turn LEFT onto McDonalds Road and then take the first RIGHT onto Thompsons Road.
  • Wine Country Villas is around 1.4 kilometres along the road, on the right hand side.

By rail:

  • The closest rail station to the Hunter Valley is located at Morisset. For more details, go to the City Rail website or call 131 500.
  • You can also book a taxi from the station to Wine Country Villas via Cessnock Radio Cabs, 02 4990 1111 or by calling 131 008.

By air:

  • Domestic airlines operate services into Newcastle Airport from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
  • You can arrange private transfers from Sydney Airport through Newcastle Airport on 02 4928 9822.
  • Sydney Seaplanes also fly daily from Rose Bay in Sydney to Cessnock—if you’d like to travel in real style.
  • You can arrange private transfers from Sydney Airport through the airport on 02 9667 9111

Terms & conditions

~~ADDITIONAL SERVICE FEES: 
Villas must be left in a clean and tidy state or additional service fees will be incurred. Any damage or loss of items in villas will be charged to the guest's account.

~~SMOKING 
All villas are strictly non-smoking, inside AND on the villas' decks. Smoking is allowed outside of the villas. Cigarette stubs must be disposed of responsibly. Guests found in breach of these restrictions will be required to leave, along with any other guests in the same villa, and will forfeit the entire cost of their booking.

~~CHECK IN AFTER 2PM (IMPORTANT) 
As all villas have keyless entry, there is no need to 'check in'; however, please be aware that guests can arrive ►►NO EARLIER THAN 2PM◄◄, on the day of arrival. This ensures adequate access to villas for cleaning and setup, ready for guests' arrival. Thank you for your cooperation.

~~CHECK OUT BY 10AM (IMPORTANT) 
To ensure adequate access to clean and set up villas, we require all guests to ►►VACATE VILLAS BY 10AM◄◄, on the day of departure. Thank you for your cooperation.

~~NUMBER OF GUESTS AND THEIR AGE 
» Bookings must reflect the number of guests staying in a villa. 
» If more guests are found to be staying in a villa than has been booked and paid for, management reserve the right to ask that these guests leave and also to retain the total cost of the booking. 
» One child up to a year old stays for free. 
» Extra guests: Children under 12 years of age stay for $40/night/child. Adults are $70/night/adult. 
» At least one person over the age of 18 years must be staying in the villa per booking.

We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of this booking. For example, we may share some information about you with these third parties so that they can contact you directly by email (for example: to obtain post-stay reviews about your travel experience).

Payment Policy

To confirm your booking, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The balance will be withdrawn the day prior to arrival. Once final payment has been confirmed you will be provided with your PIN, via text message or email, for keyless entry to your villa AFTER 2pm on the day of arrival.

Cancellation Policy

~~CANCELLATIONS*

  • For CANCELLATIONS made within 14–28 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded if the villa is rebooked.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days or less, or no shows, the balance is payable, but will be refunded if the villa can be re-booked at short notice.
  • In the event that we have to discount accommodation to be able to re-book, that discount will be deducted from your refund.
  • Cancellations are thankfully few—on these occasions we do our best to re-book and refund.

*All cancellations must be in writing and will incur an administration fee of $70 per villa.
