My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our anniversary. We loved the beautiful old house, the fireplace, the scenery, the cows, the privacy and the fact that we had everything we needed in the kitchen. What was also outstanding was the cleanliness of the house. Would be a great place to stay with a small group of friends, as it very close to many wineries. Thanks Bernadette:)

We absolutely loved our weekend at the homestead and can’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect for quick trips to restaurants or wineries, but very secluded and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it feel like your a million miles away!! We arrived at night, and loved walking in to find the fire burning and the home cosy. Bernadette is the perfect host and easy to communicate with, and the place was immaculate.

"Perfect charming hunter valley cottage" This cottage was everything we wanted for a weekend in the hunter. It had all the facilities we needed, was clean, charming, and had a beautiful outlook. We loved relaxing on the verandah, sipping wine, and enjoying the gorgeous jacaranda. We will be back x

What a fantastic location to spend a few nights in the Hunter!! The homestead is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the cattle wandering down each morning and dusk. If you need to getaway from it all, be it with friends or just the two of you, this is a wonderful choice. Chris & Pauline

It was a beautiful house...very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast food in the fridge was excellent and there was more than enough for the 6 of us! The view from the verandah was fantastic. I would highly recommend it!. There was wood for the wood stove (very much appreciated)the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Highly recommended!
