Cottage Holidays offers a refreshing holiday alternative offering 50's style cottage comforts in superb locations by the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie. Cottage Holidays is not a resort. There are no leather lounges, spas, bars, pools or dish washers. .

Instead we offer a high level of privacy and tranquility in the one shop village of Nords Wharf. Our 3BR cottage is just 60m to the waters edge and next to a National Park. Spectacular coastline, surfing beaches, and the historical mining village with the classic pub of Catherine Hill Bay just 5 minutes by car.

Pets are welcome by arrangement.

Directions from Sydney to Cottage Holidays
 

  1. Follow the Pacific Highway towards Hornsby. Take the M1 to Newcastle.
  2. After approx 30 min and 3km past the Caltex roadhouse take A43 (Doyalson link Road)  Eastern side of Lake Macquarie and towards Swansea, Charlestown.
  3. You are now on the old Pacific Hwy. In 20-25 min and before Swansea take LH road to Nords Wharf.
  4. Your 3BR holiday cottage is at the southern end of Marine Pde. (No. 131), park up narrow driveway beside blue cottage.

Property was just as described. Host was LOVELY. Very good communication. Only issue was that it was pricy for the quality. However this in no way detracts from the fact that the cottage had everything one would want and the host was very upfront about it being a 50's cottage. Absolute lake frontage Great location
