"Narrabeen Lakefront" A fantastic house in a fantastic location which suited our family perfectly. Barbara could not have been more helpful.

"Thoroughly enjoyable" Lovely little cottage style house, less then 100 meters to the beach. Has a real beachy feel. Owner Deanne was so helpful and thoughtful.

Although excellent in areas, not perfect.Lets start [and finish] with the good stuff:OWNERS - Very helpful and accommodating. 10/10.POSITION - 200yds to Beach and looking onto lagoon. 10/10. [Lagoon is better when the tide is in. Muddy when out.]EATING OUT - A number of nearby restaurants and cafe's. 9/10ACCOMMODATION -Bedroom. The bed was comfortable in the main bedroom although when my daughter stayed she found the bed in the 2nd room less so. We didn't use the small bedroom. 8/10.Toilet and Bathroom - Definitely not luxurious but comfortable enough. Excellent shower pressure. 8/10.Kitchen and Front room - TV supplied but we never used it so cant comment re Satellite etc. Plenty of room here but felt the kitchen has a definite feel that your living in someone else's house rather than a stand alone rental. Some may find this an endearing feature. We rarely used the inside of the house as it was pleasantly warm outside. 8/10.Garden - This isn't a complaint - Hot tub supplied. Would have preferred a cold plunge pool. We are used to a hot tub in Scottish winters. :-)Great for eating al fresco with good [but old] Barbie. Sun full on the deck in late afternoon to sundown. Good blind here helps a lot.Lighting poor for late evening and with the twin double doors needing to be shut after dark with no insect screens, curtails a 10 here and so 9/10.Would I recommend : Yes

Very comfortable house with wonderful outdoor space; huge verandah and delightful garden backing directly onto Narrabeen Lagoon. Jjust a stones throw from the beach and rock/swimming pool, and within easy walking distance of good restaurants and the town centre. Manly Beach a mere 20 minute drive, with a very frequent ferry service to Sydney. We particularly enjoyed lazing on the verandah or on the comfy loungers in the garden, watching the birds and the activity on the Lagoon. Barbara and Terry are a delight to deal with. Highly reccommended.

Very comfortable house with large verandah looking across a pretty garden right on Narrabeen Lagoon. A fabulous view. We loved lazing on the verandah or on the garden loungers just watching the wildlife and activity on the lagoon. Location is excellent, few minutes walk to the beach and rock/swimming pool, good restaurants, cafes and shops and 20 minutes drive to Manly and all of its attractions, not least the ferries to Sydney's Circular Quay. Barbara and Terry were a delight to deal with.
