Description

Twenty minutes from Coffs Harbour and a thousand miles from care lies the quiet beachside township of Mullaway - one of the best kept secrets on the NSW coast.

Conveniently located approximately half way between Brisbane and Sydney and just 1.5 kilometres from the main road and situated a stone's throw from the beach sits your quaint, renovated historic 1950's cabin. The cabin is beachfront and there are no roads to cross to get to the beach, just a small reserve.  Mullaway is a step back in time to a less frenetic, more relaxed era.  It's the way the world should be.  Bring the whole family as the accommodation and beach are pet friendly.

The Coffs coast is littered with great beaches and several of the best are right at your door.  Just through the sand dune at your backdoor is Cabins beach - only known to the locals - often you might be the only souls on the beach.  Take a bottle of champagne down at night and watch the moon come up in privacy.  From the cabin, at the end of the secluded reserve, take the boardwalk through the palms and rainforest, past picturesque coastal views to the surf at uncrowded Mullaway beach.  Arrawarra is a well known long board break and the beach is great for a family swim.  Mullawarra lies between the two and it is also a great place for a surf or a laze on the beach.  Dolphins are frequently seen playing in the waves and from the headlands from early May till late November whales can be seen migrating along the coast.

Wildlife also abounds on the land.  Kangaroos are regular visitors and black cockatoos, galahs, lorikeets, rosellas, kookaburras, tawny frog mouths, possums, goannas, bush turkeys, echidnas, frogs and geckos also may be seen.

Clean off on the way back from the beach under the outdoor shower, picnic at the picnic table in the garden nook, luxuriate in the tranquility, read a book in the shade or play with the kids in the yard or reserve.  Don't forget to look at the star filled sky - best viewed from the beach at night with only the distant lights of Woolgoolga to be seen, then fall asleep in your peaceful beachside cabin, shutters open, bathed in fresh air with the sound of the surf gently lulling you to sleep.

Please leave the property as you found it with dishes washed and put away. Windows and doors locked and the keys back in the lock box.

A Weber BBQ is available for your use. After use it should be cleaned

The keys for the property are in a lock box on the deck near the entance. The applicable code for the lock box will be e-mailed to you about a week prior to your stay.  We ask that on departure from the property, you simply place the keys back in the lock box and spin the combination wheels.  You may also find the lock box a convenient place to leave the keys if you are going down to the beach.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Cancellation greater than 28 days before your stay - full refund of owner amount.

Cancellation between 28 days and 7 day - 50% refund of owner amount.

Cancellation less than 7 days - no refund

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.  

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments. 

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Check in Time is 1.00pm. Check out is at 1000am.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 1000am by the latest, to allow time to prepare the property for our next guests. 

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.

Linen is supplied. The property has a double bed and two bunk beds in the bedroom.

Pets are allowed. Dogs are limited to 2 per stay.  Clients are to ensure all dog droppings are not left on the property grounds & are disposed of appropriately in the property bins .  Clients are requested to keep dog noise to a minimum. The property is not fenced. Dogs are permitted inside the cabin, however, in fairness to other guests, dogs are not permitted on furniture including beds. Digs must not be left unattended in the cabin.

Pets other than dogs are also welcome.

No smoking is permitted inside the cabin.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

"Great little cabin"with the beach at your door step. Dogs loved it too !! Cant wait to stay here again. Peter is also an excellent to deal with.

"All Ours" Felt relaxed as soon as I sat in the comfortable outdoor chairs in my own backyard listening to the ocean, privacy plus, the daybed, brilliant tension just fell away, the quality of towels & bedding lovely nice touches with a bit of luxury, we did not want to leave my Jack Russel luved it

We stayed for 3 nights but could easily have stayed longer! Thanks Peter and Lynn for your amazing, funky, well located, very clean cabin! It has everything for a great holiday with dogs! Fantastic backyard beach, great walks around the headlands. Peter was in contact for anything required( cafe recommendations, blueberry farm). Welcome and farewell texts very nice, personal touch. Have already recommend to friends and will be going back!!! Awesome, Bindi and Banjo loved the rock pools !

This is a gorgeous and beautifully decorated beach shack. Owners live off the property so it is very private. We only stayed one night on our trip from the Gold Coast to Sydney, but it was a wonderful stop over - next time we will stay a few days and take full advantage of the location.
