We absolutely loved our time at Elsewhere Retreat. It had all the facilities we were hoping for, as well as some lovely little additions that made it even easier, such as having wood for fires already set up in the fireplaces. Beds, living, kitchen and dining spaces were all wonderful and comfortable. We loved the environment, especially time sitting by the creek and watching the weather roll in and out of the valley from the deck, plus and all the bird life. We will definitely stay again.

"A wonderful getaway..." Fantastic views surrounding a wonderful, warm, well appointed house. Perfect to sit back and take in the sunrise/sunset or get out into local country. We'll definitely be heading back.

"Human and canine heaven" We arrived well after dark, but the excellent directions meant this wasn’t a problem. The drive to the property itself was on a dirt track that looked as if it had just been graded, so it might be difficult for normal sedans under wet conditions. Arriving at the house under brilliant stars had a sense of occasion. And we probably could have quite happily stayed there without leaving, except to go to the Blue Mountains without eating out and walking would seem a waste. Blackheath is a comfortable 20 minute drive, but seems another world away. The enclosed area is large enough that four legged friends can happily explore without really being completely out of sight, and the house is a marvel of comfort. We will hope to return at some time
