House rules

KEYS

Keys are available to be picked up from the Manning Point General Store a few buildings away. The store is open from 8am to 6 pm - 7 days a week. Please show you booking receipt at the store as confirmation of your booking.

Please return the keys to the corner store after your visit and ensure the unit is locked

 

KITCHEN

The “how to’s” to drive the kitchen appliances are in the bottom drawer next to the oven. Please return to save delays in cooking the next guests culinary banquets .

Please use chopping boards when preparing food and use table mats and drink holders on all wooden surfaces

 

INSIDE

-Avoid bringing sand into the unit & pool by leaving footwear outside & washing feet.

-Smoking is not allowed in the Unit.

-Please consume alcohol responsibly. Strictly no drugs or illegal activities are permitted on the premises.

-Please report all breakages & malfunctions Angie on 0407590009 so they can be fixed.

-When checking out, please leave the unit in a clean and tidy state.

-Guests are encouraged to keep noise to a reasonable level at all times, in particular between 10pm and 8am

-Please do not put sanitary or other such items into the toilet

-Please keep the unit locked to maintain security.

-Sorry, no pets allowed

 

POOL

Parents or guardians have absolute responsibility for supervising minors in the Pool.

The pool is for swimming, not for board riding, water polo, high diving, running or jumping.

The pool is to be used by unit guests only.

Please keep noise to a minimum after dark.

No food or glass to be taken into pool area.

 

BBQ

All guests are welcome to use the BBQ and seating area . Please leave it clean and tidy and use the drip bucket provided.

 

LAUNDRY

Please ensure that the Laundry is tidy after use & that all appliances are turned off and are returned to their proper place.

The Laundry is coin operated cold wash. The washing line is behind the laundry.

 

CAR PARKING

Unit car park areas are marked with paint – however there are not spaces available for all units.

Please do not block access around the rear of the building as trucks may need this access route.

Limit of one car park per unit in car park. All other vehicles to be parked across the road in the reserve area.

Cars are NOT to be parked on lawn in front of units.

No boats or trailers allowed in the car park area. Trailers can be left in reserve area opposite the units.

 

GARBAGE SKIP.

- Empty the unit garbage into the Garbage skip, which is located at the rear of the laundry

-Do not clean fish in or around the units. Fish cleaning area is located opposite the general store at the boat ramp. Do not place seafood scraps in the bulk garbage bin. Dispose of any seafood in the river.

 

WATER

- The showers are on an instant hot water system which only takes about 20mins to reheat. So you may wish to stagger your showers.  

Have a fantastic holiday; avoid too much U.V. exposure and only take as many fish as you need !! We hope to see you again and thank you for your cooperation.

Terms & conditions

 Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Deposit of 20% non refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 7 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it. 

Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period. If  a refund is made due to the property being re-let then a $50 cancellation fee will apply. 

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.  Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments. 

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Arrival - check-in time is after 14:00.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests. 

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.  

Linen is available for hire at price quotes, otherwise must be supplied by the tenant.

Pets are strictly not allowed - sorry, but this is a body coorporate rule

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Children must be supervised.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
