Description

THE COTTAGE is a fabulous country cottage in a great location - Just a few minutes drive from the Crowne Plaza golf course - Close to the wonderful restaurants of Lovedale and only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Pokolbin. 

The Cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. In the winter months there are electric blankets on the queen beds. There is a sofa bed in the Lounge area in front of the wood fire. A reversal cycle airconditioner is available in the Lounge/kitchen for heating or cooling.The kitchen is made of recycled wood that gives it a rustic country appearance. The kitchen is well equipped with a full size refrigerator, microwave, and an electric cook top. There is crockery and cutlery for 6 guests. There is a TV, DVD player, CD player & radio in the Lounge area, along with two 3 seater lounges. 
All linen is supplied. 
The bathroom has an old fashioned claw foot bath for a relaxing soak. There is also a shower and vanity. The toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom. Soap, shampoos, hairdryer are supplied. Also iron & ironing board. Timber french doors open onto a spacious outdoor entertaining area which has a table setting and hooded gas BBQ. The views from the entertaining area are relaxing - gum trees and the occassional kangaroo. 

The tariff of a weekend is based on hiring the Cottage with linen and bedding supplied for up to 6 people- the Cottage is ideal for 2 couples but there is the sofa if you have 1 or 2 more people who are staying with you - maximum of 6 people. 

Long weekends, Lovedale Long Lunch Weekend, Easter, Xmas/New year - are all 3 night minimum stays. 

During the week (Mondays- Thursdays) the Cottage is available for one couple at only $150/night with a 2 night minimum. The second bedroom is closed and is not booked to other guests. Extra people accompanying you are charged at $50/person/night with a 2 night minimum stay. 

Breakfast foods are not included in the tariff as often our guests prefer to self cater or dine out at the many local restaurants. 

TARIFFS:2 night minimum stay with 3 nights on Long Weekends, Lovedale Long Lunch weekend, Xmas/new Year & Easter.

Terms & conditions

When you book accommodation with The Cottage Hunter Valley, your booking is confirmed immediately and it is at this time a binding contract comes into existence.  

The contract is subject to these booking terms and conditions, all booking conditions will apply to each and every booking made with The Cottage Hunter Valley. 

Check in is from 2pm and check out is by 10:30am. Late check-out is by prior arrangement only and subject to availability. 

All linen, bedding and bath towels are supplied for paying guests 

A minimum deposit of 50% will be required upon booking. Credit card facility is available. The remaining 50% payment is required no later than 28 days prior to booked arrival date. 

You are required to give The Cottage Hunter Valley at least two weeks (14 Days) notice of cancellation of your accommodation booking. 

A failure to provide at least two weeks’ notice for cancellation of accommodation bookings may result in forfeiture of monies paid to The Cottage Hunter Valley at the absolute discretion of The Cottage Hunter Valley. 

An administration fee of $50.00 will be charged for all cancellations. 

Your credit card details or bond payment for $200.00 will be held at the office as a security deposit in the event that The Cottage Hunter Valley determines in it absolute discretion that loss or damage has occurred or that excess cleaning is required, you agree and acknowledge that The Cottage Hunter Valley has the right and ability to use the security deposit to rectify that damage or loss or to effect that excess cleaning.  You agree you are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation, furnishings, fixtures, fittings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, omission, default or neglect of you or any third party, guest, friend, colleague, family member or invitee of you and will pay The Cottage Hunter Valley on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage, including any need for excess cleaning, calculated by The Cottage Hunter Valley in its discretion. The Cottage Hunter Valley may use this clause in an action for recovery of damages against you. 

Notwithstanding the above, you agree to accept responsibility for any damage or loss to property or accommodation supplied or owned by The Cottage Hunter Valley caused by you or any third party, guest, friend, colleague, family member or invitee of you. 

The Cottage Hunter Valley reserves the absolute right to terminate (before or after departure) this contract due to your misconduct or the misconduct of any third party, guest, friend, colleague, family member or invitee of you, within the absolute discretion of The Cottage Hunter Valley. In these circumstances full cancellation charges will then apply and no refund will be given. 

Furthermore The Cottage Hunter Valley will be under no obligation to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your accommodation being terminated.  

The Cottage Hunter Valley is subject to statutory controls, including those relating to fire, licensing, entertainment, health, hygiene, and safety. These must be strictly observed by you, any third party, guest, friend, colleague, family member or invitee of you. 

The Cottage Hunter Valley’s liability to you or any third party, guest, friend, colleague, family member or invitee of you in the event of any damage sustained or loss incurred is limited to the price of the booking. 

You agree to indemnify The Cottage Hunter Valley from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from any booking, event or function that you, any third party, guest, friend, colleague, family member or invitee of you make, host or hold at the accommodation. 

The Cottage Hunter Valley will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control. 

All persons under the age of eighteen years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whilst on The Cottage Hunter Valley premises.

"Very comfortable cottage in a great location." Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage in Lovedale. The beds were comfortable and the open fire was a cosy touch. The kitchen is well stocked; there isn't an oven, but the BBQ did the job. The location is very close to both Allandale and Capercaillie wineries, two of our favourites. It was lovely sitting on the verandah watching the sun go down sampling our vineyard purchases. Thanks very much for the stay.

"Warm and cozy" The place was exactly what we needed. Very cute, clean, and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and have a home away from home.
