Description
Attractively renovated, fully equipped holiday house, with great modern kitchen and 2 sparkling bathrooms. The house comfortably accommodates 2 families (4 bedrooms, 2 separate living areas).
Set on the edge of a beautiful National Park, the house also has views towards the water, and is only a short stroll to the lagoon and beach.
There is a wood-burning BBQ and a good supply of games, books and movies for indoor fun.
We offer linen as an option for extra convenience
Location:
The lagoon is great for swimming at high tide, and wading/paddling at low tide. The beach - on the other side of the lagoon - is the locals' favourite. You will find great rocks to explore, with views back to the headland of Jervis Bay, and Cudmirrah Beach, which is also lovely.
There are LOTS of bushwalks around. One starts on the bush road at the back of the property - take a 15 min stroll, or take on a 10 km hike.
The fishing here, and all around, is great.
Swan Lake (at Cudmirrah) has a great picnic area and boats for hire.
On Sussex Inlet Road, you will find farms selling local free range eggs and fruit and vegies. Sussex Inlet (10 minutes) has serious shops and also boasts boats for hire, a small cinema, and food cooked for you by others.
At Huskisson (¾ hour), you can catch a dolphin cruise or take a fishing charter through Jervis Bay, or visit the Aboriginal cultural centre/museum. There is a lovely open air public swimming pool, including a fabulous paddling pool for the kids. There is also an information centre.
Then there are all the other magnificent beaches and water systems within easy driving distance - from Shoalhaven Heads (one hour) to Bateman's Bay (1¼ hours). Try Callala Beach or Green Patch (one hour), or Bendalong, Conjurong Point, Lake Conjola or Mollymook/Narrawallee (¾ hour). At Burrill Lake (one hour), you can catch a very informative and peaceful lake cruise.
Nearby are Milton and Berry, with plenty of antiques and coffee shops.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time here. The house is comfortable, well equipped and impeccably clean. The teenagers appreciated the separate living areas. We all enjoyed the large collection of books. The location is fantastic. Five minutes from the beach, beautiful bush walks starting right outside the house and kangaroos on the front lawn one morning - wonderful. We are planning on returning next year.

The location - close to beach, lagoon, National Park, Sussex Inlet area. Lots of lovely widlife which the children loved. It was also reasonable value for money considering the size of the property. Quite a homely feel to the place with lots of books and a fantastic fully equipped kitchen great for preparing family meals.

2 minute walk to the lagoon, 5 minute walk to beach, house has all amenities needed, plenty of room and a good assortment of toys and books for kids to play with. you would not be disappointed if you rented this house

The house is well placed for the enjoyment of the safe waters of the lagoon, the waterside park, the surf beach, and the adjoining National Park. It is very suitable for extended families, and was greatly enjoyed by our three generations. The layout is such that, with two living areas, privacy or togetherness are available, as required.

Two couples and 3 teenage boys had a very enjoyable stay for 1 week. House comfortable and very well equipped. Attractive outlook down the street to the lagoon and easy access to the beaches, with peaceful bush setting and kangaroos visitng often. We would happily go again.
