Relaxed & comfortable accommodation offering spectacular mountain views and beautiful gardens in a rural setting.
If you'd like a taste of small farm living, country peacefulness, expansive mountain views, acres of glorious parkland gardens to explore, Wombat Hill Cottage is ideal. We offer a relaxed get-away from the stresses of a busy life whilst being close to the beautiful villages of Berry and Kangaroo Valley. Sip wine on the cottage deck and you may be lucky to spot our resident wombat or echidna.
You are welcome to collect your own farm fresh eggs, visit our organic veggie patch and pick citrus from our small orchard. Handfeed our sheep and visit our neighboring alpacas who like to check out their visitors! It is a special place!
Wombat Hill Cottage is in Bellawongarah, on Berry Mountain between Berry and Kangaroo Valley (10-15 minutes from each village) - a 2 hour drive from Sydney and 2.5 hour drive from Canberra.

"Gorgeous, peaceful and comfy. Home away from home!" So lovely of Nick and Jenny to share their peaceful paradise... and homemade bread and jams! :)

"Just wonderful!" What a special place. The attention to detail is just lovely. This was our second stay and again the fresh flowers, fresh bread and stunning home made jams were there making it consistently special. The gardens are spectacular and the friendly sheep and chooks are yet another surprise- a very precious place.

"Very relaxing" We stayed for just 1 night but had a lovely time walking through the property and just relaxing. The breakfast was also very yummy with fresh bread, homemade jams and organic eggs. The only issue was the shower as it didn't have much water pressure.
