Combining the charm of a bygone era with sumptuous, modern comforts lends the homestead a luxe Hamptons vibe. Set on manicured one-acre grounds, bordered by Byron Bay Creek, deep green hedgerows and wrap-around balconies, the main house is flanked by three private cottages. This heritage property is an ideal venue for weddings, celebrations and private functions.

The property sleeps 14 and all 7 rooms are unique, boasting fine linens, fluffy robes and ensuite bathrooms with all the mod cons - smart TV with Netflix, DVD player, iPod dock, WiFi, ceiling fan and reverse cycle heating and cooling system.

On-site parking is provided and guests have shared use of the central kitchen, dining, living areas of the main house.

Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of delicious options available.

The Bangalow Guesthouse is a character filled home built in 1908. It has a rich history steeped in the Byron Shire hinterland town of Bangalow. It is a home away from home. A guesthouse is not a hotel. Bangalow Guesthouse is a homely environment whereby the guests take care of themselves as the property is not manned by staff 24/7.

The guests have a duty of care to maintain the property as they would maintain their own homes. This includes ensuring all lights are switched off before retiring for the evening, securing the house and locking all doors and windows. 

Guests have full use of the kitchen and all the facilities. Guests are asked to clean up after themselves and place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, wipe the benches and leave the spaces as they found them. A common courtesy so that all guests may enjoy Bangalow Guesthouse. 

Our Guesthouse is not suitable for all guests and unfortunately, we don't accept children and animals. Please ensure you read Bangalow Guesthouse terms and conditions prior to making a booking with us and fully understand that we are not a hotel. We do not offer the same services or staffing level of a hotel.

RATES
All rates quoted on this site are subject to availability. All rates are inclusive of GST and quoted in Australian dollars. By using the rates quoted on this site you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates as quoted are per room per night, unless specified. Rates may increase without notice.

PAYMENT
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Your reservation is not confirmed until full payment is received. Please note we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards only.  A 1.3% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.

CANCELATIONS
Cancellations or changes to bookings for this room must be made 14 days prior to check-in date and arrival time at the Bangalow Guesthouse or you will be charged the full amount of the booking.

If you cancel or change your booking 14 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival at Bangalow Guesthouse a full refund less Credit Card surcharge will be provided.

1.3% Credit Card surcharge is not refundable.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check-in is at 2:00 pm & Check-out is at 10:00 am an early check-in or late check-out request must be pre-approved before arrival by contacting our reservations line on 02 6687 1317. The property operates a keyless and a self check-in and check-out policy.

CHILDREN POLICY
We endeavour to provide a relaxed environment for our guests to enjoy the unique Bangalow Guesthouse experience. For this reason, ​we do not cater for young children and babies.

PETS
Pets are not permitted on​ the grounds of the property. Guide Dogs excepted

CAR PARKING
Bangalow Guesthouse provides limited off-street parking for guests. There is also plenty of on-street parking.

INTERNET CONNECTION
Bangalow Guesthouse provides guests with free WiFi internet. The operation of any internet connection during this reservation is not guaranteed and may be disrupted or not available.

BEHAVIOR AND NOISE POLICY
As a courtesy to all in-house guests and neighbours, please ensure noise is kept to a minimum. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm. 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Management also reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.

LOST AND FOUND 
All items in lost and found will be kept for a maximum of one month. Every effort will be made to contact the guest and return the items at the guest’s own expense.

SMOKING
All rooms are non-smoking inside. All shared spaces are non-smoking including veranda and areas.

SCHOOLIES POLICY
Bangalow Guesthouse does not accept schoolies reservations.
